Abstract:
Described herein are novel methods of synthesizing (3-chloro-2-pyridyl)hydrazine. Compounds prepared by the methods disclosed herein are useful for preparation of certain anthranilamide compounds that are of interest as insecticides, such as, for example, the insecticides chlorantraniliprole and cyantraniliprole.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to certain pyridinium enolates which due to their high stokes shift find applications as fluorescent materials in solar concentrators. The invention also relates to solar concentrators containing molecules of this type.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to copper, gallium and technetium coordinated thiosemicarbazone- pyridylhydrazine (substitued at the pyridine ring with a substituted benzothiazole or stilbene moiety) complexes and methods thereof. Such compounds possess utility in PET imaging and diagnosis of amyloid diseases.
Abstract:
Compounds are described that are useful for treating an apoptosis-associated disease, which are specifically cytotoxic to tumor cells that are overexpressing BcI-XL, and are much less cytotoxic in isogenic cells that are not overexpressing BcI-XL. Methods of using such compounds to treat apoptosis-associated disease is also described.
Abstract:
Acid dyes, a process for their preparation and their use for dyeing organic substrates of the general formula (I) wherein the substituents have the meaning as indicated in the claims.
Abstract:
The invention relates to polycyclic aryl and heteroaryl substituted 4-pyridone compounds useful as inhibitors of serine proteases of the coagulation cascade and compounds, compositions and methods for anticoagulant therapy for the treatment and prevention of a variety of thrombotic conditions including coronary artery and cerebrovascular diseases.
Abstract:
Use of compounds of general formula (I) or salts thereof as phytopathogenic fungicides wherein the various radicals and substituents are as defined in the description, pesticidal compositions containing them and method for combatting pests which comprises applying these.
Abstract:
Th2 differentiation inhibitors which contain compounds represented by general formula (I), prodrugs thereof, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof or solvates of the same, wherein the rings A, B and C are each an aromatic carbon ring, a heterocycle, etc.; X represents a single bond, -O-, -CH2-, -NH-, -SO-, etc.; Y represents hydrogen, optionally substituted lower alkyl, optionally substituted lower alkenyl, etc.; and V and V represent each a single bond, -O-,-NH-, -OCH2-, etc.
