Abstract:
The present invention relates to polyamides (PA) comprising recurring units (RPA) according to formula (I) or formula (II) wherein n equals 16; m equals 18; R 1 is 1,4-bis(methyl)cyclohexane; and R 2 is 1,4-bis(methyl)cyclohexane. The present invention also relates to polymer compositions (C) comprising such polyamides, and to articles, for example mobile electronic device articles and components, incorporating the polyamides (PA) or compositions (C).
Abstract:
An agricultural formulation for conveying nutrients to a plant includes Poly(aminoamide) (PAMAM) dendrimers and a fertilizer active ingredient.
Abstract:
A water permeable composite membrane is disclosed herein, comprising a thin film layer on a porous substrate. The thin film comprises a polymer and amine - containing compound associated with the polymer, and the amine-containing compound comprises at least one aliphatic hydrocarbon moiety attached to an amine group. Further disclosed herein are a process for preparing the aforementioned composite membrane described herein, a reverse osmosis apparatus comprising said composite membrane, and a method utilizing said composite membrane for treating water.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing polyamide. The invention relates more particularly to a process for producing polyamide from at least one diacid and from at least one diamine, comprising the introduction of a lactam and/or of an amino acid after a step of concentrating an aqueous solution of a salt of a diacid and diamine.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of biological labeling that occurs via a free radical chain reaction. The labeling occurs due to deposition of a detectable reporter molecule from a media comprising a substance comprising at least two moieties of a peroxidase enzyme substrate (termed herein "cross-linker") in a target site comprising peroxidase activity and a biological marker. The labeling reaction described herein may generally be used to detect targets in a host of experimental schemes for detecting and visualizing a biological or chemical target, including immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), antibody-based staining methods such as ELISA, Southern, Northern, and Western blotting, and others.
