Abstract:
A bracket for retro-fitting a decorative pelmet assembly above an existing wall or ceiling mounted blind assembly. The bracket comprises a face plate having a first arm extending perpendicularly from a first edge of the face plate and a second arm extending from a second edge of the face plate in the same direction as that of the first arm. The first arm includes means for connection to complementary means located on a pelmet to be supported by said bracket, and the second arm is locatable, in use, behind an existing wall or ceiling mounted bracket to enable retro-fit connection of the bracket to a pelmet assembly without the use of tooling to drill and plug holes.

Abstract:
A system including a wall-mount hook and a perimeter pocket. The wall-mount hook is attached to a wall and includes a wall contacting portion having a top and a bottom, and a upward facing hook between the top and the bottom of the wall contacting portion. The pocket includes a top portion attached to a first and second leg on opposite ends of the top portion extending downwardly. The pocket further includes a wall attachment region including a downward facing hook and a ledge on an exterior surface of the pocket. The first leg contacts the wall, the bottom of the wall contacting portion slots into the ledge of the wall attachment region, and the downward facing hook of the wall attachment region rests on the upward facing hook of the wall-mount hook. The connection between the wall-mount hook and the pocket constrains lateral and vertical movement of the pocket.
Abstract:
A mounting bracket lock may be configured to secure the mounting bracket of a window treatment housing to a rail of the housing. The mounting bracket lock may be slidably attachable to the rail and, when in a locked position, may prevent the mounting bracket from detaching from the rail. The mounting bracket lock may include a body that is mountable to the rail. The body may include a first portion that slidably attaches to the rail, and a second portion that receives a portion of the rail and a portion of the mounting bracket, thereby securing the mounting bracket in a locked position relative to the rail. The body of the mounting bracket lock may define one or more projections that extend therefrom, and that engage in a friction fit between corresponding surfaces of the mounting bracket when the mounting bracket lock is in the locked position.
Abstract:
A window shade (60) having a power actuation system. The window shade includes a fixed member (63); a rotatable member (62) that is rotatable relative to the fixed member; a reversible motor (64) mounted to the fixed member, wherein the reversible motor includes a mechanism for driving the rotatable member such that rotation of the reversible motor in a first direction deploys a shade material and rotation of the reversible motor in a second direction stows the shade material; and a control circuit (66) coupled to a set of motor leads of the reversible motor, wherein the control circuit switches the reversible motor among at least three operational states, including: a hold state in which the motor leads are shorted to resist rotation, a deploy state in which the motor leads are connected to a power source to deploy the shade material, and a stow state in which the motor leads are connected in reverse to the power source to stow the shade material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for pairwise coupling of systems for window covering, which are each provided with at least one rotatable shaft for winding up or unwinding the window covering. The device comprises a first part (10) adapted for connection to the winding shaft of a first system, a second part (20) adapted for connection to the winding shaft of a second system, wherein the first and second parts are rotatable relative to each other and wherein the first part and the second part are provided with co-acting adjusting means which are adapted to adjust the winding shaft of the second system relative to the winding shaft of the first system over a desired angle of adjustment, and to fix the winding shaft of the second system in the corresponding position. The adjusting means comprise a worm wheel transmission, wherein the worm screw (11) forms part of the first part (10) and the worm wheel (21) forms part of the second part (20).
Abstract:
A bracket member (9) of a supporting means for supporting a screening device in a frame structure, which has at least one pair of opposed frame pieces (5, 6), said supporting means comprising a pair of bracket members (9, 9') provided for mounting on a respective frame piece (5, 6) of said pair of opposed frame pieces and a pair of coupling members (30) positioned at either of two opposing ends of the screening device. The bracket member (9) comprises a base (10) for abutment on the frame piece (5), a main face (11) opposite the base (10) and at least one bracket member engagement side (12) for engaging a coupling member of the screening device. A part of the main face (11) is provided by a releasable cover member (15), below which an electrical contact point is provided. The coupling member comprises a recess having at least one coupling member engagement side for engaging a bracket member (9) and an electrical terminal in the recess.
