摘要: A system for acquiring a test-and-measurement signal from a device under test (OUT) including a test-and-measurement probe, a user interface, a robot, and a controller. The probe is configured to acquire an electronic signal from the DUT. The user interface displays a digital representation of a physical electronic circuit of the DUT, including portrayals of virtual nodes that correspond to actual nodes on the DUT. The robot is configured to automatically position the probe with respect to the DUT. The controller is configured to receive from the user interface an electronic indication of a selected node of the digital representation of the physical electronic circuit, where the selected node is one of the virtual nodes. The controller is further configured to provide instructions to the robot to automatically position the probe to a position on the physical electronic circuit corresponding to the actual node.

摘要: A system and method introduce a variable thermal resistance to test and burn in apparatus. The system and method provide an efficient design for more accurate temperature control of integrated circuits. A system for testing integrated circuit (IC) packages comprises a plurality of IC testing socket bases arranged on a testing board and configured to receive a plurality of IC packages. A plurality of IC testing socket lids are arranged to attach to the testing board. Each IC testing socket lid comprises a temperature sensor to thermally contact the IC package and measure a surface temperature of the IC package, a heat sink is placed into either proximity to or directly in contact with the IC package, and an electronic controller to receive signals from the temperature sensor. A variable thermal resistance is introduced in the thermal conductive pathway formed from the device under test (DUT), the DUT contact and the heat sink such that the heat introduced into the system can be controlled and the adverse effects of unwanted cooling can be mitigated.

摘要: A processing system (100) includes one or more power supply monitors (PSMs) (200) to measure one or more first voltages corresponding to one or more locations in the processing system. The measurements are performed concurrently with the processing system executing one or more code loops. The processing system also includes calibration logic (135, 705) to modify a second voltage provided to the processing system based on a comparison of a reference voltage and the one or more first voltages. The reference voltage is determined based on previous execution of the one or more code loops by the processing system.

摘要: A system to detect whether a potentiometer is in an open circuit condition is disclosed. The system includes a potentiometer having a resistive element coupled between a voltage input and ground and an adjustable arm determining the resistance of the resistive element. A low pass filter is coupled to the adjustable arm. A controller has a first driver output coupled to the voltage input of the potentiometer and a second driver output coupled to the adjustable arm. The controller determines failure of the potentiometer by setting the first driver output coupled to the voltage input of the potentiometer to a high value. A first sample voltage from the adjustable arm is read and determined whether the first sample voltage is between a high threshold and a low threshold value. The first driver output coupled to the voltage input of the potentiometer is set to a low value. A voltage is applied to the adjustable arm via the second driver output. A second sample is read from the adjustable input and it is determined whether the second sample is below an arm threshold value.
