摘要: There is provided a fuel container comprising a layer made of a resin composition (E) comprising polyethylene (A), EVOH (B), acid-modified polyethylene (C) and acid-modified polyethylene (D), wherein the resin composition (E) contains 0.1 to 20 parts by mass of EVOH (B), 0.1 to 20 parts by mass of acid-modified polyethylene (C) and 0.1 to 10 parts by mass of acid-modified polyethylene (D) based on 100 parts by mass of polyethylene (A); an MFR (190 °C, under 2.16 kg load) of the polyethylene (A) is 0.01 to 10 g/10 min; an acid value of the acid-modified polyethylene (C) is 0.1 to 9 mg KOH/g; an acid value of the acid-modified polyethylene (D) is more than 10 mg KOH/g and 120 mg KOH/g or less; and a ratio (D/A) of an MFR (190 °C, under 2.16 kg load) of the acid-modified polyethylene (D) to an MFR (190 °C, under 2.16 kg load) of the polyethylene (A) is 50 or more. For a fuel container of the present invention, the amount of deteriorated materials adhering to a screw and/or a die is reduced even when long-term continuous melt molding is conducted during production thereof, resulting in higher productivity. Furthermore, the fuel container exhibits excellent impact resistance with less stripes being generated.

摘要: A multilayer produce packaging film includes a first layer and a chlorine dioxide-producing layer. The chlorine dioxide-producing layer includes a polymer composition and a plurality of chlorite ions. The chlorine dioxide-producing layer is substantially free of an energy-activated catalyst and is substantially free of an acid-releasing compound. However, the film is capable of generating chlorine dioxide when exposed to UV light and moisture.

摘要: In accordance with the present subject matter there is provided a laminate for vignette and tonal image printing comprising: a top printable layer of polyethylene polymer selected from the group consisting of metallocene linear low density polyethylene (mLLDPE), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) with high melt flow index (MFI), low density polyethylene (LDPE), and combinations thereof; a middle layer comprising of at least one surface film layer of a blend of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), and high density polyethylene (HDPE); a inner polyethylene (PE) layer; wherein said printable layer exhibits a gel count in the range of 1-10 per sqm. There is also provided a process for manufacturing the laminate for vignette and tonal image printing.

摘要: Provided are a sealing tape that can prevent tape width misalignment, air bubble inclusion, and creasing even when the sealing tape is affixed in a folded state, a phosphor sheet using the same, a lighting device, a liquid-crystal display, a method for manufacturing a phosphor sheet, and a sealing method. The sealing tape (10) includes an adhesive layer (11), a gas barrier layer (12), a bonding layer (13), and a support film layer (14) laminated in stated order, and has an incision (15) into the support film layer (14) in a thickness direction. The incision (15) is located substantially centrally in a width direction and extends in a longitudinal direction. Accordingly, tape width misalignment, air bubble inclusion, and creasing can be prevented even when the sealing tape is affixed in a folded state.

摘要: Disclosed are compositions, methods and uses for thin multi-layered films that may include a metallizable skin layer that include polyethylene polymer(s), wherein the metallizable skin layer may be treated one or more times. The multi-layered films include a core layer and a sealant layer, wherein each of these layers includes metallocene-catalyzed, linear, low-density polyethylene. The core layer is located between the metallizable skin layer and the sealant layer. These films may include one or more additives in any of the layers and/or include one or more tie layers. The multi-layered films may be biaxially oriented, have a haze equal to or below 5%, and have an elastic modulus equal to or below 350 N/mm2. The multi-layered films may also include a metallized layer on the metallizable skin layer, a coated layer on the metallizable skin layer, and/or be laminated to a polyethylene-based polymer, such as polyethylene terephthalate.

摘要: Disclosed are biaxially oriented, multilayered films, wherein said films may include a core layer comprising linear, low-density polyethylene, and the core layer is optionally cavitated. Said films may further include a first skin layer on a first side of the core layer, and a second skin layer on a second side of the core layer, wherein the first skin layer and the second skin layer comprise thin layers of linear, low-density polyethylene of a same or different type. Further, said films may include an aqueous-based primer on an outer surface of the second skin layer, wherein the outer surface faces away from the core layer. Further still, said films may include a sealant coating layer on the first skin layer and a barrier coating layer on the second skin layer, wherein the sealant coating layer and the barrier coating layer are aqueous-based.
