    摘要: A vehicle drive control apparatus is provided for detecting clutch trouble early and to alert the driver to the need for clutch repair. The vehicle drive control apparatus is provided in a vehicle having a clutch (12) disposed between an electric motor (4) and a wheel (3L or 3R) driven by the electric motor (4). The drive control apparatus comprises a clutch control section (8D) and a diagnosis section (8H). The clutch control section (8D) is configured to control engagement of the clutch (12) to selectively drive the wheel (3L or 3R) by the electric motor (4). The diagnosis section (8H) is configured to diagnose whether or not the clutch (12) can be operated by controlling the clutch control section (8D) to turn on and off the clutch (12), when the diagnosis section (8H) determines that the wheel (3L or 3R) is not being driven by the electric motor (4).
