摘要: A construction machine includes: an engine driving at least one hydraulic pump configured to supply operating oil to a hydraulic actuator; an exhaust adjustment mechanism adjusting a flow rate of exhaust from the engine; and a control device controlling the exhaust adjustment mechanism. The control device determines whether or not a first downhill traveling condition and/or a second downhill traveling condition are/is satisfied. When at least one of the first downhill traveling condition and the second downhill traveling condition is satisfied, the control device controls the exhaust adjustment mechanism such that the exhaust adjustment mechanism executes exhaust brake.

摘要: A control system includes a supercharged engine and an electronic control unit. The supercharged engine includes an exhaust passage, a turbine, and an exhaust catalyst. The turbine includes a turbine control valve. The electronic control unit is configured to calculate (S103) a first exhaust gas temperature and a second exhaust gas temperature that are temperatures of exhaust gas flowing into the exhaust catalyst. The electronic control unit is configured to control the turbine control valve such that: the turbine control valve is set to the first valve opening degree (S104, S105) when the first exhaust gas temperature is higher than the second exhaust gas temperature; and that the turbine control valve is set to the second valve opening degree (S104, S106) when the second exhaust gas temperature is higher than the first exhaust gas temperature.

摘要: A variable geometry turbocharger employs multiple vanes in the turbine inlet with a unison ring and integral cast wall in the turbine housing forming the nozzle walls. An actuator rotates the unison ring through a rack and pinion driven crank shaft to move the vanes through a range of vane positions that extends between a hard-stop closed position and a hard-stop open position, and that includes a reference position corresponding to a desired flow condition. A variable geometry turbine controller uses a sensor indicating the actuation position of the actuator to guide the operation of the vanes to the reference position. The controller intermittently directs the actuator to force the vanes to the hard-stop closed and hard-stop open positions, and uses sensor information from those positions to reestablish the reference-position information that the actuator uses to guide the actuation of the vanes.

摘要: An improvement to a turbocharger having a housing (10) with a slot (25) located along a mid-line of the housing (10) above the turbine wheel (29) 10 and a tongue (15) defining the end of an initial inlet throat area (11) of the housing (10), the slot (25) permitting inlet exhaust gas which flows past the tongue (15) to flow into the turbine wheel (29), the improvement being a pivoting vane (50) aligned with the slot (25) and having an upstream end (55) located at a downstream end (57) of the tongue (15). When the vane (50) is in its fully closed position (60), the inlet exhaust gas is prevented from flowing into the slot (25) and, therefore, the turbine wheel (29), until the inlet exhaust gas passes the downstream end (57) of the vane (50). The vane (50) effectively extends the tongue (15) to define a revised inlet throat area (12). The A/R ratio of the housing (10) progressively varies as the vane (50) pivots between the fully opened (70) and fully closed (60) positions.

摘要: An exhaust gas denitration system is provided to prevent clogging of a urea water injection nozzle and an exhaust tube and avoid poisoning of an exhaust gas denitration catalyst. The exhaust gas denitration system includes: an exhaust gas turbocharger (5) driven by exhaust gas from a marine diesel engine (3); a reactor (2) producing ammonia from a urea water; a urea water injection nozzle (32) for supplying the urea water into the reactor (2); an SCR catalyst part (4) provided in an exhaust gas path on a downstream side of the exhaust gas turbocharger (5) for denitrating the exhaust gas using the ammonia supplied from the reactor (2); an exhaust gas bypass path (Bl) through which a part of the exhaust gas obtained by partly extracting the exhaust gas being supplied to the exhaust gas turbocharger (5) from the diesel engine (3) flows into the reactor (2); and a burner (50) for heating the exhaust gas inside the reactor (2).

摘要: An ECU 20 is provided with a surge avoidance unit (process) S10 configured to determine whether or not a compressor 5b of a turbocharger 5 enters a surging state during vehicle deceleration, and when the compressor 5b is determined to enter the surging state, acquires a first target opening degree TAn of a nozzle vane 5c in a turbine 5a of a turbocharger 5 based on an operation state and a first opening map M1 as a surge avoidance control, controls the nozzle vane 5c to a surge avoiding first target opening degree TAx if the first target opening degree TAn is smaller than a predetermined surge avoiding first target opening degree TAx, and controls the nozzle vane 5c to the first target opening degree TAn if the first target opening degree TAn is not less than the surge avoiding first target opening degree TAx. Therefore, it is possible to avoid the surging state of the compressor 5b.

The variable capacity turbine (1) includes: a turbine housing (3) having an involuted scroll (2) formed therein; a turbine wheel (4) rotatably provided on an inner periphery side of the scroll (2); the involute dividing wall (7) mounted on the turbine housing (3) to divide the scroll (2) into an inner scroll (5) and the outer scroll (6); and a flow regulating valve (12) for opening and closing an introducing port (14) formed at an inlet end of the outer scroll (6). The inlet portion of the outer scroll (6) is formed to have a continuous and gentle throttle flow path from an upstream side to a downstream side.

Each of the support columns 21, 40 may have a cross-sectional shape in the axial direction of the turbine which includes an upstream corner and a downstream corner in a direction of a gas flow each of which has an acute angle, θ1, θ2 so that an upstream surface 32 and a downstream surface 34 incline along the gas flow.
