Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Steuerung oder Regelung einer Fahrerhauslagerung eines Kraftfahrzeugs, insbesondere eines Nutzfahrzeugs. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine Vorrichtung zur Steuerung oder Regelung einer Fahrerhauslagerung eines Kraftfahrzeugs. Gemäß dem Verfahren zur Steuerung oder Regelung einer Fahrerhauslagerung eines Kraftfahrzeugs erfolgt die Steuerung oder Regelung der Fahrerhauslagerung in Abhängigkeit von mindestens einer ermittelten Straßeninformation (S1), die ein in Fahrtrichtung des Kraftfahrzeugs vorausliegendes Straßensegment betrifft, derart, dass in Abhängigkeit von der ermittelten Straßeninformation eine Anpassung (S2) einer Feder-Dämpfer-Einrichtung der Fahrerhauslagerung erfolgt. Dadurch wird eine präventive Anpassung der Feder-Dämpfer-Einrichtung der Fahrerhauslagerung realisiert, wodurch der Komfort im Fahrerhaus gesteigert werden kann.

A method for detecting a misalignment of a vehicle chassis by using image data of a vehicle camera. Image data is received from the vehicle camera and a horizon position and a position of a camera axis is identified. A distance between the horizon and the position of the camera axis is derived and compared with a previously calibrated distance. If a misalignment value, which is derived from the difference, exceeds a first pre-determined threshold, a corresponding output signal is generated.

A method and apparatus of determining a straight-driving state or a turning state of a moving object using an acceleration sensor are provided. The method of determining a turning state using a sensor includes: reading sensor output signals of different axes from an acceleration sensor while a moving object is being driven wherein the acceleration sensor is an at least two axes acceleration sensor and detects an acceleration of the moving object; and comparing the read sensor output signals of the different axes and determining whether the moving object is in a straight-driving state or in a turning state.

The application program accesses an electronic map of a path and divides the path in sectors. Operating parameter values are stored via the application program, each value being associated to a corresponding sector. While driving, the sector occupied by the vehicle is identified in real time. Values are transmitted sector by sector, from the portable processing device to the electronic control unit so that the electronic control unit sets, sector by sector, the vehicle operating parameter vehicle to the value associated to the occupied sector.
