Said method comprises the following steps; a manipulation tool (10) is provided with a tool body (11) whose surface (12, 14) at least partially rests on the cell material (20); the manipulation tool (10) is displaced by altering geometrical properties of the surface (12, 14) in such a manner that the geometrical arrangement of the cells (21) is altered. The invention also relates to a manipulation tool for carrying out said method.
