In a case where a filler port is opened when the state of charge SOC of the battery becomes equal to or lower than a predetermined value after an engine is stopped, a restart of the engine is inhibited (step 110). Then, the hill hold control which had been implemented since stop of the engine is continued (step 120). A specific electric load is turned off (step 130), and a stopping of the engine is inhibited when the filler port is opened before the engine is stopped (step 180). This prevents the engine from being restarted when the filler port is open.
