摘要: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus 1 sequentially displays ultrasound images of a plurality of continuous frames during imaging on a display unit 8, and includes a measurement target recognition unit 9 that automatically recognizes a measurement target included in an ultrasound image of a present frame displayed on the display unit 8, a measurement algorithm setting unit 12 that sets a measurement algorithm for the measurement target recognized by the measurement target recognition unit 9, and a measurement unit 10 that measures the measurement target based on the measurement algorithm set by the measurement algorithm setting unit 12 and displays a measurement result on the display unit 8 to be superimposed on the ultrasound image of the present frame.

摘要: Improved urine output collection apparatus and monitoring device features are provided. The disposable urine collection apparatus includes a collection reservoir and a diverter for controlling the flow of urine to a first passageway of the diverter in a first position and to a second passageway of the diverter in a second position, wherein the first passageway is fluidly interconnected to the collection reservoir. The disposable urine collection apparatus may include a cartridge having an internal chamber and inlet and outlet members interconnected to the cartridge, wherein the inlet member is selectively, fluidly interconnectable to the second passageway of the diverter, and wherein the outlet member is selectively, fluidly interconnectable to the collection reservoir. The monitoring device is interconnectable with the cartridge and operable to monitor a volume and/or level of urine collected within the cartridge. The cartridge may include a front portion and a reduced-width projecting portion extending rearwardly from the front portion. The projecting portion of the cartridge may be received within a recessed portion of the monitoring device. The monitoring device may include at least light source (e.g. a laser diode) for emitting a fan beam light signal into the projecting portion and a light detector array (e.g. a charge coupled device) for detection of the fan beam light signal and output of signals employable to determine a volume and/or level of collected urine.

摘要: An example method includes receiving monitoring data representing one or more substantially real time electrical signals based on measurements from one or more respective electrodes. The method also includes selecting at least one signal of interest (SOI) from the monitoring data, each selected SOI being associated with a respective anatomical location and storing SOI data in memory corresponding to each selected SOI. The method also includes quantifying changes between signal characteristics of real time signals acquired for one or more respective anatomical locations and the at least one SOI that is associated with each of the respective anatomical locations. An output can be generated based on the quantifying to characterize spatially local signal changes with respect to each of the respective anatomical locations.
