摘要: A grid framework structure is provided, comprising:
i) a first modular storage unit frame arranged to define a first storage volume when assembled for the storage of a plurality of stacks of containers,
ii) a second modular storage unit frame arranged to define a second storage volume when assembled for the storage of a plurality of stacks of containers, wherein the first modular 5 storage unit frame and the second modular storage unit frame are configured to be arranged together to define a storage volume comprising the first storage volume and the second storage volume,
iii) a grid structure comprising a first set of grid members extending in a first direction and a second set of grid members extending in a second direction, the first direction being substantially perpendicular to the second direction to form a grid pattern comprising a plurality of grid cells,
wherein the grid structure is mounted to at least one of the first modular storage unit frame and the second modular storage unit frame such that each of the first modular storage unit frame and the second modular storage unit frame supports a plurality of grid cells so that, in use, a load handling device operative on the grid structure is able to retrieve a container from the storage volume.-

The tiltable platform is arranged to be connected to a delivery grid cell of a delivery rail system such that that there is a path to and/or from the tiltable platform for the delivery vehicle via the delivery grid cell. The invention is also related to an access station, a delivery system and a method of accessing a storage container.

摘要: A system for moving pallets can include a rectangular grid, pallets, a shuttle device, a motive assembly, and one or more processors. The pallets can be arranged upon a matrix of cells of the rectangular grid. The one or more processors can be communicatively coupled to the shuttle device and the motive assembly. The one or more processors can execute machine readable instructions to activate a vertical actuator to urge the pallet engagement member of the shuttle device into engagement with a shuttle engagement member of a selected pallet of the pallets. The motive assembly can be actuated to slide the selected pallet along the rectangular grid, while the pallet engagement member of the shuttle device and the shuttle engagement member of the selected pallet are engaged.

摘要: The present invention concerns a remotely operated vehicle or robot for picking up storage bins from a storage system. The inventive vehicle or robot comprises a vehicle body, which vehicle body further comprises a first section for storing vehicle driving means and a second section for receiving any storage bin stored in a storage column within the storage system, a vehicle lifting device which is at least indirectly connected to the vehicle body in order to lift the storage bin into the second section, a first set of vehicle rolling means connected to the vehicle body in order to allow movement of the vehicle along a first direction (X) within the storage system during use and a second set of vehicle rolling means connected to the vehicle body in order to allow movement of the vehicle along a second direction (Y) in the storage system during use. The second direction (Y) is oriented perpendicular to the first direction (X). The inventive vehicle is characterized in that the second section comprises a cavity arranged centrally within the vehicle body. This cavity has at least one bin receiving opening facing towards the underlying storage columns during use. In addition, at least one of the two sets of vehicle rolling means is arranged fully within the vehicle body.

摘要: A temporary storage system having a large capacity and loading and unloading articles promptly is provided. The temporary storage system has a grid-like travelling rail and buffers over processing equipment except for an area over a load port, and local vehicles travel along the rail. The carriage of the local vehicles is provided with at least a longitudinal travelling unit, at least a lateral travelling unit, and at least an advancement and retraction mechanism selectively advancing one of the longitudinal travelling unit and the lateral travelling unit to a position supported by the travelling rail, and travels along the travelling rail longitudinally and laterally, and the transfer unit of the local vehicles is provided with a hoist and an arm moving the hoist horizontally. The local vehicles stop at a position corresponding to the load port, advances the arm towards the load port, and transfers an article between the load port.

The containers disposed in the stacks are selected by function on demand by a user. In this way the building is reconfigurable to take in to account required uses.
