A method for manufacturing a three-dimensional object includes converting model data of the three-dimensional object into slice data, sintering powder based on the slice data after the conversion, and manufacturing the three-dimensional object by a layered manufacturing process of stacking a plurality of sintered layers. The method includes a part data correction process of correcting positional information of at least one of mutually adjoining part data of the model data of the three-dimensional object, and laying part data on each other by a predetermined amount of overlap, converting the model data corrected in the part data correction process into slice data, and after forming a sintered layer based on the slice data corresponding to one part, forming a sintered layer based on the slice data corresponding to the other part.

The invention concerns a method for making a mechanical component based on a computer-aided design comprising prior breakdown phases of the body part of the component into elementary strata, manufacturing the elementary strata, reconstructing the component. The invention is characterized in that it consists in: integrating, when breaking down the component, breakdown at least one fluid transport circuit previously computed and modelled into elementary chambers (20) based on a breakdown associated with that of the component; producing said elementary chambers in the elementary strata (7i) of the component, during the step of manufacturing the strata; reconstructing the fluid transport circuit integrally when stacking and assembling the strata. The invention also concerns the mechanical components produced by said method and for numerous fields of application such as, for example, but not exclusively, plastic and metal processing.

L'invention concerne, dans un dispositif de moulage réalisé par Stratoconception® à l'aide de plusieurs strates, une strate constituée d'au moins une pièce principale (10) et d'un insert (2) amovible servant à faire évoluer localement la forme du dispositif de moulage. Le procédé selon l'invention permet de modifier un ensemble de moulage à l'aide d'inserts (2) rapportés. A réception de fichiers CAO modifiés, il suffit d'identifier la zone à modifier et d'en définir l'étendue (nombre de states touchées). Ensuite, l'implantation des inserts couvrant la zone modifiée est simulée. Il suffit d'implanter chaque insert en découpant un emplacement dédié. Les inserts (2) sont maintenus par emboîtement mâle/femelle. L'assemblage des deux parties se faisant avec un jeu extrêmement réduit, il n'y a aucune fixation à prévoir (les strates étant montées serrées les unes contre les autres). Une fois toutes les strates modifiées, on remonte l'ensemble, afin de reformer une empreinte compacte.

The method is characterised in that the barrier is provided by coating the at least one surface with a substantially non-wettable material and permitting the substantially non-wettable material to at least partially set into a hardened state, positioning the coated preformed component in a vessel and at least partially filling the vessel with granular material prior to the infiltrating of the at least one three-dimensional, preformed component.
