Abstract: Patterns are less likely to appear on a surface of a plate glass including a low-emissive film and a protective film that protects the low-emissive film. The coated plate glass (Cg) includes: a plate glass (Gs) having a coated surface (Cs); a low-emissive film (Le) that is disposed on the coated surface (Cs) and includes a metallic layer and a dielectric layer; and a protective film (Pr) that is disposed on the low-emissive film (Le) and contains silicon oxide. The thickness of the protective film (Pr) varies at respective points. The deviation with respect to the minimum limit size (Ls) of the thickness at each point in the thickness at each point falls within the range of a tolerance (Tr) of the thickness at the corresponding point. The tolerance Tr is set to a value of 10% or less of the minimum limit size (Ls). When the coated plate glass (Cg) is observed on the protective film (Pr), the color difference ΔE between two points that are a point at which a thickness of the protective film Pr is a maximum limit size and a point at which a thickness of the protective film Pr is the minimum limit size Ls, is 3.5 or less.

Abstract: There is provided a carrier-attached metal foil that can suppress unintended release of a metal layer due to chemical solution infiltration from an end. This carrier-attached metal foil includes a carrier having a first surface and a second surface facing each other, and a side face connected to the first surface and the second surface; a release layer provided on the first surface of the carrier; and a metal layer having a thickness of 0.01 µm or more and 4.0 µm or less provided on the release layer. The metal layer extends from the first surface to the side face of the carrier so that at least a portion of the side face is covered by the metal layer. The carrier has an uneven region having a developed interfacial area ratio Sdr of 3% or more and 39% or less as measured in accordance with ISO 25178 on the side face or the side face and the first surface, and the uneven region encompasses a region of the side face covered by the metal layer.
