    摘要: The present invention relates to a novel method of preparing a non-standard amino acid or a peptide/protein comprising a non-standard amino acid residue, as appropriate, wherein said amino acid residue is selected from 2,4-diamino-3-hydroxybutyrate, L-5-hydroxylysine, L-3-hydroxyarginine, 2,3-didehydroarginine by using enzymatic transformations. Accordingly, the present invention further relates to a method of preparing a peptide/protein comprising one or more non-standard amino acids selected from 2,4-diamino-3-hydroxybutyrate, L-5-hydroxylysine, L-3-hydroxyarginine and 2,3-didehydroarginine. The methods of the present invention are particularly useful in enzyme-assisted preparation of odilorhabdins and their derivatives. The present invention further relates to a polypeptide having 2,4-diaminobutyrate-3-hydroxylase activity and its use for catalyzing a hydroxylation at position 3 of 2,4-diaminobutyrate, to a polypeptide having having L-arginine 3-hydroxylase activity and its use for catalyzing a hydroxylation at position 5 of L-lysine, to a polypeptide having L-arginine 3-hydroxylase activity and its use for for catalyzing a hydroxylation at position 3 of L-arginine, and to a polypeptide having a deacylase activity, which is preferably capable of removing fatty acyl from the N-terminus of an odilorhabdin, and its use for catalyzing a deacylation, preferably for removing a fatty acyl from the N-terminus of an odilorhabdin.
