    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flavonoid composition having excellent functionality such as water-dissolving properties, antioxidative potential and ultraviolet-absorbing potential etc., and greatly improved in color tone in comparison with that of enzyme-treated rutin. SOLUTION: The flavonoid composition contains rutin and/or a rutin derivative (a component A) and dihydroquercetin and/or a dihydroquercetin derivative (a component B). The component (A) preferably comprises a composition (enzyme-treated rutin) obtained by making cyclodextrin glucanotransferase act on coexistence of rutin and dextrin, and containing α-glucosyl rutin and isoquercitrin. The component B preferably comprises taxifolin as the dihydroquercetin. The flavonoid composition has a higher utility value to fields of food and cosmetic products because the flavonoid composition is improved in color value of antioxidative potential compared with the enzyme-treated rutin on the basis of the same antioxdative potential.
