    摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substances, by brominating 4-hydroxypropiophenone in methanol as a solvent, fixing the formed hydrogen bromide with a base, heating the reaction mixture with 4-benzylpyridine under refluxing, and reducing the reaction mixture catalytically. CONSTITUTION:4-Hydroxypropiophenone is brominated in methanol, ethanol or ether as a solvent, and the formed hydrogen bromide is fixed with a basic substance, e.g. 4-benzylpyridine or potassium hydrogencarbonate, and 4-benzylpyridine is added simultaneously to heat the reaction mixture with methanol, etc. as a solvent under refluxing. The reaction mixture is then catalytically reduced to afford the hydrobromide of the titled substance. EFFECT:The method is simple due to the absence of harmful substances necessary for benzylation. The reaction can be carried out in the same reaction vessel by the through process. USE:A remedy for cerebrovascular disorder sequelae.
