    SOLUTION: The latch mechanism is provided with: an inlet/outlet port 4 for an engagement member formed on the wall surface 3 of a casing 2 and facing the inner surface of a cage; the engagement member 5 stored in the casing through the inlet/outlet port 4 so as to be freely retractable/advanceable from the inside of the casing to the outside of the casing to be engaged with a cage; an elastic member 6 one end of which is connected to an in-the-casing part of the engagement member 5, the other end of which is fixed to the front end side part of the casing 2 and which extrudes the engagement member to the outside of the casing when released; a lead-in tool 7 which is engaged with the middle of the elastic member 6, deforms the elastic member in the front edge direction of the casing 2 to lead the engagement member 5 into the casing; and a movable sleeve 8 which is connected to the lead-in tool 7, arranged outside the front edge of the casing and movable in the direction separated from the casing 2.

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pluggable optical transceiver which is superior in heat radiative effect and which can be manufactured in simple processes. SOLUTION: The optical transceiver comprises a resin housing the entire body of which is plated with a metal, an optical subassembly to be mounted in the housing, a circuit board, a heat radiating member to dissipate heat generated from an electronic circuit mounted on the circuit board to the outside of the transceiver, and a metal cover covering these optical subassembly, circuit board, housing, and heat-radiating member. Since the heat-radiating member is in contact with the electronic circuit as well as most of the surface is not covered but exposed outward, heat radiation effect is improved. Since all of these optical subassembly, heat-radiating member and cover can be assembled with the housing, only by fitting without using a screw or the like, the manufacturing step of the transceiver can be significantly simplified.
