摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent premature ignition, when adopting the combustion mode of high degree of premixing compression ignition. SOLUTION: In this combustion control device, there is provided a valve adjusting means 36 for varying the actual compression ratio of an engine 1, by changing the opening timing or lifting amount of an intake valve 33. By making the valve adjustment means 36 operate, adjustment is performed so as to set the actual compression ratio of the engine lower than that at a low degree premixing, when heightening the premixing degree by operating a fuel injection valve 5 to perform an advanced injection.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly maintain the efficiency, etc., of a supercharger, by effectively and cooperatively controlling an exhaust reflux valve and a supercharger in an operation region being performing an exhaust reflux. SOLUTION: A device, equipping a turbo-supercharger and an EGR device, and also having a means for controlling an EGR valve so as to equate an air- fuel ratio with a target air-fuel ratio; is equipped with a suction pressure sensors 24 for detecting supercharging pressure, an air flow sensor 33 for detecting fresh air quantity to an engine, and a controlling means 40. The means 40 controls at least one side of the driving quantity of the turbo-supercharger and the opening quantity of the EGR valve, so that the supercharging pressure and the fresh air quantity can be increased/decreased in accordance with each other, following the change of an operation condition in an operation region making exhaust reflux.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily hold the NOx reducing effect in transitional operation by providing a variable blade for changing the exhaust passing area of a turbo supercharger and a suppressing means for suppressing the opening directional movement of the variable blade in the transitional operation. SOLUTION: A turbo supercharger 5 is mounted on an engine 1, and the turbo supercharger 5 is provided with a compressor 6, a turbine 7 and a variable blade 8. The engine 1 has an EGR valve 12 interposed in an EGR passage allowing an exhaust passage 3 to communicate with an intake passage 3. The signals from an air flow sensor 21 and an intake pressure sensor 25 are inputted to a control unit 30. An intake throttle valve 23, the variable blade 8 of the VGT 5 and the EGR valve 12 are controlled by the control unit 30. In a transitional operation where a target intake pressure is suddenly reduced, the opening directional operation of the variable blade 8 is suppressed. Accordingly, the lack of exhaust gas circulating quantity in the transitional operation can be prevented to satisfactorily exhibit the NOx reducing effect.
