Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical material having a high transmittance, a low optical scattering property, a high refractive index, a low Abbe number and a high secondary dispersion property. SOLUTION: The optical material includes a resin composition containing a sulfur-containing compound containing in a molecule, at least one of group selected from the group consisting of a sulfide group, a sulphone group, a sulfoxide group, a thiol group, and a thioester group, and a fluorene compound having a fluorene skeleton; and an energy polymerization initiator. A polymer of the resin composition has a refractive index of 1.65 or more to less than 1.92, an Abbe number (νd) of 15 or more to less than 22, and a difference Δθg, F=θg, F(A)-θg, F(B) of 0.05 or more to less than 0.13, which is the difference between a secondary dispersion property θg, F(A) of the polymer of the resin composition and a secondary dispersion property θg, F(B) represented by θg, F(B)=0.6438-0.001682νd. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyarylene sulfide resin, characterized in that loss of the resin seldom occurs in washing with a solvent the resin formed by polymerization. SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyarylene sulfide resin is characterized in comprising the following practice: In washing the polyarylene sulfide resin in a softened or melted state with a mixed solvent of an aprotic organic solvent and water, part of the resin dissolved in the washing is recovered; specifically, the washing is cooled and/or mixed with water to precipitate, separate and recover the resin dissolved in the washing; the resin thus recovered is then reused. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light-emitting element having a plurality of adjoining organic compound layers, in which an underlying layer exhibits excellent insolubility, electric charge transportability, and light-emission characteristics when compared with those of a conventional organic light-emitting element.SOLUTION: The organic light-emitting element includes a first electrode, a first organic compound layer formed on the first electrode, a second organic compound layer formed contiguously to the first organic compound layer, and a second electrode formed on the second organic compound layer. The first organic compound layer contains a non-crosslinked polymer and a crosslinked polymer. Both non-crosslinked polymer and crosslinked polymer include a repeating unit that includes a structure having charge transportability. Absolute value of the difference between ionization potential of non-crosslinked polymer and ionization potential of crosslinked polymer is 0-0.2 eV.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resist resin that incorporates therein a photoacid generating function in order to prevent deficiency such as roughness after pattern formation or failure in pattern formation, and in which a moiety capable of changing its developer solubility by the action of an acid and a moiety having a photoacid generating function are arranged with regularity.SOLUTION: A fluorine-containing sulfonate resin has a repeating unit of the following general formula (3). In the formula, As each independently denote a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom or a trifluoromethyl group; n denotes an integer of 1-10; W denotes a divalent linking group; R1 denotes an acid unstable group; and M+ denotes a univalent cation.
