摘要： A circuit for testing digital-to-analog (DAC) and analog-to-digital converters (ADC) is provided. The circuit applies a code pattern having a plurality of sequential values to the digital to analog converter. A plurality of built-in test switches (BTS) couple at least one tap voltage from the DAC to a test bus and to the ADC as a variable reference input voltage. In one form, the circuit uses incremental digital codes to test for defects in a resistor string, a switch array, and a decode logic that form part of the DAC. In another form, the circuit uses the tap voltages from the DAC to test the comparators that form part of the ADC. Instead of performing time-consuming analog to digital conversions, the functionality of the above mentioned circuitry is tested by varying the code pattern around a reference point and by selecting the appropriate combination of BTS switches.

The method includes receiving advertising information and an indication of a physical location associated with the advertising information. The advertising information is transmitted to a first client associated with a first user. Entrance to the physical location is detected by either the first user or a mobile device associated with the first user. The transmission of the advertising information and the detection of the entrance to the physical location of the first user or the mobile device are reported to a second client associated with a second user. The present invention further provides a location based advertising systems.

摘要： An apparatus and method are provided for producing an assembly comprising a plurality of digital data storage media carriers attached to a carrier strip. In the production of the assemblies, carriers are positioned for movement in a longitudinal direction of the conveyor system with the carriers being in a row. Carrier strips are secured to the carriers with the longitudinal axis of the assembly and the carrier strips being generally parallel to the direction of movement of the conveyor system. Carriers are deposited onto the conveyor system via a bottom feed depositor which depositor utilizes a pressure differential to help produce positive movement of carriers from a carrier magazine onto the conveyor.

The system comprises a first electrical component having a first electrical parameter associated therewith. Sensing means generate a control signal indicative of the value of the first electrical parameter. A second electrical component has a second electrical parameter associated therewith, the value of which has a predetermined relation to the value of the first electrical parameter. Adjustment means receive the control signal generated by the sensing means; and, in response to the control signal being indicative that the electrical circuit parameter is not at the predetermined value, selectively connects or disconnects at least one further electrical component to or from the second electrical component thereby to provide said predetermined value.
