    摘要: The present invention provides methods of treating and preventing mortality associated with heart failure in an African American patient with hypertension and improving oxygen consumption, quality of life and exercise tolerance by administering a therapeutically effective amount of at least one hydralazine compound and at least one of isosorbide dinitrate and isosorbide mononitrate, and, optionally, one or more compounds, such as, for example, a digitalis, a diuretic compound, or a compound used to treat cardiovascular diseases. In the present invention, the hydralazine compound is preferably hydralazine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Preferred methods of the invention comprise administering hydralazine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and isosorbide dinitrate.

    摘要: An undercoat composition comprises a film-forming synthetic resin and contains a non-volatile acidic aromatic polar organic compound in free acid or salt form, which compound facilitates the removal by a stripping composition of a top coat paint which is subsequently applied over the undercoat. A top coat composition for applying as the outer coating on a substrate comprises a film-forming synthetic resin having functional groups and a curing agent for crosslinking the synthetic resin and contains a non-volatile acidic aromatic polar organic compound in free acid or salt form, which compound facilitates the removal of the cured top coat by a stripping composition from a cured undercoat of similar composition which does not contain the said acidic aromatic polar organic compound.

When the beam of radiation interacts with a particle in the beam of particles, it causes that particle to emit either mass or energy. That mass or energy is then detected by one or more detectors or sensors which provide data that permit the particle to be detected, sized or otherwise analyzed (e.g., the chemical composition of the particle can be determined).
