A method of making biopaper includes providing a bioplastic film that includes a bioplastic resin selected from the group consisting of PLA, PLLA, PDLA, PHA, PCL, PH, PBT, GPE, and GPET; providing a lightweight paper; applying a bio adhesive to a side of the lightweight paper; adhering the side of the lightweight paper to the bioplastic film to provide a multilayer paper; and rolling the multilayer paper against a main roller so as to further adhere the lightweight paper and bioplastic film together.
