The invention relates to a composition comprising: (A) an amorphous or quasi-amorphous copolymer containing polyamide blocks and containing polyether blocks, the polyamide blocks comprising cycloaliphatic units; (B) a semicrystalline polymer or copolymer comprising amide units; (C) another polymer or copolymer comprising amide units; and (D) a multilayer polymer comprising at least a layer (D1) and a layer (D2). This composition has advantageous properties of transparency and impact strength, especially for the manufacture of sports articles.

A thermoplastic composition having a polyolefin backbone containing a residue of at least one unsaturated monomer and a plurality of polyamide grafts, and also another component, wherein: the polyamide grafts are attached to the polyolefin backbone by the residue of the unsaturated monomer comprising a function capable of reacting via a condensation reaction with a polyamide having at least one amine end group and/or at least one carboxylic acid end group, the residue of the unsaturated monomer is attached to the backbone by grafting or copolymerization, wherein the other component consists of platy nanofillers, said nanofillers being phyllosilicates and representing from 1% to 6.5% by weight of the composition.

The present invention relates to a composition that comprises a mixture of polymers, which comprises: a first polymer comprising polyphenylene sulphide, making up 55 wt % to 95 wt % of the mixture; a thermoplastic modifier, making up 5 wt % to 45 wt % of the mixture; optionally one or more functional additives, making up at most 10 wt % of the mixture, preferably at most 5 wt % of the mixture, characterised in that the thermoplastic modifier includes a second polymer which comprises a polyolefin backbone containing a group of at least one unsaturated monomer (X) and a plurality of polyamide grafts. The invention also relates to a multilayer structure including a plurality of adjacent layers, at least one of which consists of the aforementioned composition.

A composition including: between 45 and 94.95 wt. % of a matrix having at least one polyamide; between 0.05 and 20 wt. % of at least one prepolymer, the proportion by weight of the polyamide matrix and that of the prepolymer being respectively between 60 and 99.9 wt. % and between 40 and 0.1 wt. % in relation to the total amount of polyamide-prepolymer; between 5 and 45 wt. % of at least one impact modifier; and between 0 and 20% of an additive, said composition having a higher level of fluidity in the melted state than the same composition without prepolymer.

The invention relates to the use of at least one prepolymer in a composition which includes: a matrix of at least one transparent semi-crystalline polyamide, and optionally at least one additive, for improving the crystallisation kinetics and reducing the warping of the composition while preserving or improving the transparency properties thereof as well as the mechanical properties thereof, in comparison with the same composition without a prepolymer, wherein the composition does not contain a nucleating agent.

A polyamide-based polymer composition including: a) 50% to 98% by weight of a transparent amorphous polyamide; b) 1% to 15% by weight of a polymer in the form of core-shell particles; and c) 1% to 15% by weight of a polyether block and polyamide block copolymer, wherein the polyether block and polyamide block copolymer has: as a 2 mm layer, a transmittance at 560 nm of 90% or more; and a refractive index that does not differ by more than 0.01 from that of the transparent amorphous polyamide and wherein the polymer in the form of core-shell particles has a refractive index that does not differ by more than 0.01 from that of the transparent amorphous polyamide. Also, a process for the manufacture of the composition, and the composition capable of being obtained by said process.
