Abstract: The present invention relates to polyurethanes obtained by mixing to give a reaction mixture of (a) polyisocyanate, (b) polymeric compounds having groups reactive toward isocyanates, (c) catalysts comprising incorporable amine catalysts, (d) phosphoric esters, polyphosphates, phosphonic esters, and/or phosphorous esters, and optionally (e) blowing agents, (f) chain extenders and/or crosslinking agents, and (h) auxiliaries and/or additives, and completing the reaction of the reaction mixture to give the polyurethane. The invention further relates to a process for producing these polyurethanes and to their use in automobile interiors.

Abstract: An asphalt composition comprising 0.1 to 10.0 wt.-% monomeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) based on the total weight of the composition, wherein the monomeric MDI is carbodiimide modified and wherein the weight percentage of 4,4′-MDI in the carbodiimide modified monomeric MDI is in the range of from 65 to 85% and the weight percentage of carbodiimide is in the range of from 15 to 35% in the carbodiimide modified monomeric MDI; wherein at least 18% by weight based on the total weight of the composition are particles with a sedimentation coefficient above 5000 Sved in a white spirit solvent.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of polyurethanes where (a) polyisocyanate, (b) polymeric compounds having groups reactive toward isocyanates, (c) catalysts, (d) a CH-acidic compound of the general formula R1—CH2—R2, where R1 and R2 independently of one another are an electron-withdrawing moiety of the general formula —C(O)—R3 or —CN, where the moiety R3 is selected from the group consisting of —NH2, —NH—R4—NR5R6, OR7 or R8, where R4, R5, R6, R7, and R8 are independently selected from the group consisting of aliphatic, araliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons, which may have substitution, and optionally (e) blowing agent, (f) chain extender and/or crosslinking agent, and (g) auxiliaries and/or additives are mixed to give a reaction mixture, and the reaction mixture is allowed to complete a reaction to give the polyurethane. The present invention further relates to polyurethanes produced by this process and to the use of these polyurethanes in the interior of means of transport.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a process for producing polyurethanes including mixing (a) polyisocyanate, (b) polymeric compounds having isocyanate-reactive groups, (c) catalysts and optionally (d) blowing agents, (e) chain-extending and/or crosslinking agents and (f) auxiliaries and/or additives to afford a reaction mixture and reacting the reaction mixture to afford polyurethane. The polymeric compounds having isocyanate-reactive groups (b) are a polyesterol (b1) obtainable by polycondensation of an acid component with an alcohol component. The acid component includes malonic acid and/or derivatives thereof and the alcohol component includes an aliphatic dialcohol having 4 to 12 carbon atoms. The present disclosure further relates to a polyurethane obtainable by such a process and to a method of using in enclosed spaces.
