    Abstract: An apparatus for bonding flexible printed wires to non-flexible printed wires is provided. The apparatus incudes a heater; and a heating tool heated by the heater and formed to have a heating chip. The heating chip has a height direction and a heating surface directed in the height direction. The heating surface is moved toward the flexible wires to press the flexible wires formed on the non-flexible printed wires. A solder portion is mounted on, at least, ones of the flexible printed wires and the non-flexible printed wires, the heating tool melting the solder portion for a mutual connection between the flexible and non-flexible printed wires when the heating surface of the heating tool is pressed onto the flexible printed wires. The pressing surface is formed as a curved surface having a central part which protrudes outward more than other parts thereof.

    Abstract: A bonded structure has a first substrate composed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, a first thin film layer formed on the surface of the first substrate, and a resin adhesive layer bonded to the surface of the first thin film layer. The first thin film layer is composed of silicate glass that has a metal element with different valency from Si as a solid solution. The resin adhesive layer includes a resin including a structural site derived from ionic polymerization or a resin capable of dehydration condensation.

    Abstract: A controller-integrated rotating electrical machine incudes a rotating electrical machine and a control device. The rotating electrical machine is equipped with a stator and a rotor. The control device is equipped with a control circuit for an inverter circuit and an angle position sensing device which works to measure an angular position of the rotor. The control device has first substrate on which the control circuit is mounted and a second substrate on which the angle position sensing device is mounted. The first substrate is located closer to the rotating electrical machine than the angle position sensing device is in an axial direction of the controller-integrated rotating electrical machine. This minimizes adverse effects of magnetic flux, as generated by the rotating electrical machine, on operation of the angle position sensing device, thereby enhancing a measurement accuracy of the angle positon sensing device.

    Abstract: A rotor for a rotary electric machine includes a pair of Lundell-type cores, a plurality of magnets, and a magnet retainer. The pair of Lundell-type cores includes a plurality of claw poles with flange portions projecting to a circumferential direction of the rotor from an end portion on an outer diameter side of each of the claw poles. The plurality of magnets are arranged between the pair of Lundell-type cores, and are magnetized in a direction of reducing flux leakage. The magnet retainer retains each of the magnets, and has side surfaces in the circumferential direction. At least one of the side surfaces is provided with at least one projection for restraining movement of the magnet retainer in an axial direction along a rotary shaft.
