Abstract: A control information sending/receiving method and device are provided, to implement indicating a time-frequency location of a control channel to a terminal device in a 5G NR system or a future evolved LTE system. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, broadcast information; determining, from at least two predefined time-domain locations, a time-domain location of a broadcast channel carrying the broadcast information; determining a time-domain location of a control channel based on the time-domain location of the broadcast channel; and performing control channel detection in the determined time-domain location of the control channel.

Based on this method, a network device can flexibly indicate a type of system information that needs to be sent.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide a method for receiving reference signal and a method for sending a reference signal. In those embodiments, a terminal device can determine a location of a resource element to which a reference signal is mapped. The terminal device can determine a reference signal sequence corresponding to the resource element. The index of each element in the reference signal sequence is determined based on a resource block index of a resource block corresponding to the resource element, a quantity of resource elements that carry the reference signal in the resource block, a resource block offset, or an inter-symbol offset. The terminal device can receive the reference signal by using the resource element, and performing channel estimation or channel sounding based on the received reference signal and the reference signal sequence. Therefore, the terminal device can complete channel estimation without learning of a system bandwidth.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for feeding back channel state information, a user equipment, and a base station, to improve feedback precision of channel state information. The method includes: receiving a reference signal sent by a base station; selecting a precoding matrix W from a codebook according to the reference signal, where a column vector of the precoding matrix W may be expressed as α[v ejϕv]T, v=[1 ejθ]; and sending a precoding matrix indicator PMI to the base station, where the PMI is corresponding to the selected precoding matrix W. The present invention may further improve quantization precision and achieve balance between overheads and the quantization precision. The base station performs precoding on a sent signal according to a fed back precoding matrix indicator, which can improve precoding precision, thereby improving a data transmission rate and system throughput.
