A control device and a computer program product configured to complete the functions of determining that a task needs to be executed, where the task is a task to distribute the media content to a media play apparatus, acquiring device information of the multiple media distribution devices, selecting an available media distribution device from the multiple media distribution devices according to the device information, where the available media distribution device may be configured to process the media content such that the media content has an adaptive media stream format suitable for the media play device, and assigning, when there are multiple available media distribution devices, at least one segment of the media content to each of the available media distribution devices such that the multiple available media distribution devices jointly process the media content.

A media playback processing and control method, apparatus, and system are provided. The processing method includes: receiving, by a central server, a query request of a control device, and returning a query response to the control device according to a resource information table; receiving a resource request of a selected display device selected by the control device; and querying the resource information table, determining that a selected media resource corresponding to information about a selected storage path is stored on a first media server (MS), and determining a second MS with a conversion capability to convert a media format of the selected media resource into a media format supported by a playback capability of the selected display device, so as to enable the selected display device to play a media resource converted by the second MS from the selected media resource.

A method, apparatus and system for software management are provided that relate to the technical field of communications, and that allow software installed on a Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) device by a service provider to be managed only by that service provider. The method comprises receiving a software installation command sent by a first control device, installing software according to the software installation command and storing a first authentication information required during management of the software; receiving a software management command sent by a second control device, and acquiring a second authentication information corresponding to the software management command, which command is used in managing the software; when the second authentication information is consistent with the first authentication information, executing the software management command.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for transmitting media resources. The method includes: obtaining related information of media resources on a media server (101); sending an instruction message including the related information of the media resources to a telephony server, wherein the instruction message instructs the telephony server to perform session negotiation with a communication peer according to the related information of the media resources to establish a first multimedia session (102); obtaining information of a communication interface used by the telephony server to receive the media resources (103); sending an instruction message according to the information of the communication interface, wherein the instruction message instructs the media server to send the media resources to the telephony server, so that the telephony server transmits the media resources to the communication peer through the first multimedia session (104). The present invention is applicable to media resource transmission in a multimedia session.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a terminal device, and a screen-sharing display method and system. The screen-sharing display method is used in a device having a touch function, where the method includes: detecting a position of a touch object on a touchscreen; generating, according to the detected position of the touch object on the touchscreen, an icon corresponding to the position of the touch object; superimposing the icon onto display content of the touchscreen to obtain screen-sharing touch and display content; and sending the screen-sharing touch and display content to a screen-sharing display device, so that the screen-sharing display device displays the screen-sharing touch and display content including the icon.

The present invention is applicable to the field of digital home networks and provides a method and apparatus for media information access control, and a digital home multimedia system. The method includes aggregating media information and access rights information of the media information on a first media server. The method also includes returning, to a control device that sends a media access request, a media information list which the control device has rights to access. The media information list is returned according to the aggregated media information and the aggregated access rights information of the media information. The present invention ensures security of the media information in the digital home multimedia system when the media information in the digital home multimedia system is aggregated for browsing.

The present invention applies to the field of multimedia communication technologies, and provides a method for switching between media play devices, and a device. The method includes: acquiring and displaying a media play device list on a home area network, and determining a to-be-switched-to media play device according to a user operation; sending a request message that carries a browsing history of a media content page of a media server and device capability information of the to-be-switched-to media play device to a remote user interface server RUI Server; receiving a uniform resource identifier URI of a user interface UI sent by the RUI Server; and sending the URI to the to-be-switched-to media play device, so that the to-be-switched-to media play device displays the UI that includes the browsing history.
