The disclosure relates to a construction machine with a paving screed to install a road surface, whereby the construction machine is a self-propelled road paver and comprises at least one power line for power supply of at least one electric consumer of the paving screed and whereby the construction machine contains a network for data transmission between at least one sender integrated in the network and at least one receiver integrated in the network. Furthermore, according to the disclosure, at least one section of the power line is integrated in the network and configured for data transmission between the sender and the receiver.

A measuring system for a road construction machine includes a control unit which is operationally connected using a field bus to at least one field device, wherein an exclusive bus address is respectively assignable in the measuring system for each field device connected in the field bus. Furthermore, a method for addressing at least one field device is also provided.

The present disclosure refers to a paving screed for compacting a paving material, comprising at least one external control station for an operator for controlling at least one operating parameter adjustable on the screed, for example a power of a screed heating system. The external control station comprises a support and at least one operating panel detachably attached thereto as an input unit for the operator for setting the at least one operating parameter. The operating panel is attached to the support by means of a plug connection device having a first plug connector part with at least one first electrical contact part integrated thereon and a second plug connector part with at least one second electrical contact part integrated thereon. Furthermore, an electrical coupling of the two electrical contact parts integrated on the plug connector parts can be produced by a mechanical coupling of the two plug connector parts.

A road finishing machine comprising a paving screed for the production of a new road pavement layer of a paving material and a unit provided on the road finishing machine to generate a dynamic compacting specification field based on thermographic geosignals with regard to at least one temperature image that exists behind the paving screed of the road finishing machine for at least one surface section of the newly installed road pavement layer. An information indication unit provided on the road finishing machine is configured to display at last one compacting message that is at least partially based on the compacting specification field to an operator of at least one compacting vehicle that follows behind the road finishing machine for compacting of the newly installed road pavement layer.

A construction machine includes at least one sensor unit which can assume different measuring states and at least one operating device spatially separated therefrom, with which a measuring state of the sensor unit is controllable. Additional controls are arranged at the at least one sensor unit, and the measuring state of the at least one sensor unit is controllable by both the at least one operating device as well as by the controls at the at least one sensor unit. A method for controlling at least one sensor unit, which can assume different measuring states, on a construction machine is also provided. The method includes controlling the measuring state of the at least one sensor unit both by at least one operating device spatially separated from the at least one sensor unit, and by controls attached to the at least one sensor unit itself.

The operating lever comprises, at least in sections, a material which is suited and arranged in the operating lever such that a position of the operating lever relative to the basic housing can be detected by means of the Hall sensor.

The construction vehicle comprises an internal network area of the construction vehicle, which comprises a computing unit for controlling an operation of the construction vehicle, and an external network area of the construction vehicle, which is in data communication connection with the internal network area. A firewall is configured to monitor data communication from the external network area of the construction vehicle to the internal network area of the construction vehicle, wherein the firewall has its own processor and operating system.

A construction machine includes a sensor unit having a measurement range. The sensor unit is variable in its orientation relative to the construction machine, whereby position or orientation of the measurement range relative to the construction machine is also variable. The sensor unit is configured for detecting position of an external reference. The construction machine further includes a setup assistance system including a display configured to indicate to an operator while the sensor unit is oriented relative to the reference in which direction the sensor unit has to be moved in order for the reference to be located in the measurement range. The sensor unit is configured to detect a position of the reference relative to the sensor unit in at least two dimensions, and the display is configured to display the position of the reference relative to the measurement range for the at least two detected dimensions simultaneously.

A road finishing machine comprises a tractor and a screed hinged to the tractor to be towed behind the tractor. At the tractor, a main control platform of the road finishing machine is provided which offers space for an operator and comprises operational controls for controlling functions of the road finishing machine. The main control platform has a roof, wherein a lighting unit with a light source is provided at the roof. The lighting unit comprises a housing which accommodates the light source and has a reflector. The reflector is configured to reflect light emitted by the light source into a working area of the screed so that the working area of the screed is illuminated indirectly.

A road finisher comprises a towing vehicle including a material hopper at a front in a paving travel direction for receiving paving material, and a paving screed which is pulled behind the towing vehicle in the paving travel direction for compacting paving material. A generator for providing electrical power is provided on the towing vehicle. A plurality of electric heating devices is provided on the paving screed for heating the paving screed. The road finisher further comprises a power distribution arrangement having a line network configured to supply the heating devices with power provided by the generator. The power distribution arrangement comprises a plurality of power adjusters provided on the paving screed and each power adjusted is associated with one of the heating devices. The road finisher comprises a control device configured to control the power adjusters to individually dynamically adjust the power supplied to the respectively associated heating device.
