    摘要: Organosiloxanes containing ester derivatives of ascorbic acid are disclosed having the formula (RiSiO)11Ro-Ii)Si—X-A wherein R is an alkyl group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, n is I to 3 inclusive, X is a divalent organic linking group, A is an ester derivative of ascorbic acid. A method of making an organosiloxane containing ester derivatives of ascorbic acid and the products prepared according to the method arc also taught. The compounds and compositions of the present disclosure are useful to affect tissue lightening when applied topically to keratinaceous tissue.

    摘要: An aqueous silicone emulsion which crosslinks by a Michael addition reaction, yielding a cured composition upon removal of the water has been prepared. The aqueous silicone emulsion comprises the product formed by mixing an organosiloxane polymer containing at least two Michael acceptor groups per organosiloxane molecule, water, a surfactant and an effective amount of a crosslinker having sufficient reactive hydrogens of a Michael donor per crosslinker molecule. The invention also describes a method for making these silicone emulsions.

    摘要: The invention provides: a cross-linkable therapeutic composition comprising a) a saccharide-siloxane copolymer; b) a crosslinking agent; c) one or more active/inactive ingredients; and d) optionally, a solvent, or solvent mixture, wherein the saccharide-siloxane copolymer has the following formula: R2aR1(3-a)SiO—[(SiR2R1O)m-(SiR12O)n]y-SiR1(3-a)R2a that is further formulaically defined and wherein the saccharide-siloxane copolymer is a reaction product of a functionalized organosiloxane polymer and at least one hydroxy-functional saccharide such that the organosiloxane component is covalently linked via a linking group to the saccharide component; films; and methods related thereto. The composition has therapeutic properties. The invention also provides articles of manufacture including topical and transdermal agent delivery patches comprising the novel film-forming composition and/or films.
