    摘要: The present invention relates to provide a protein group binding to keratin which is the major component of body hair, or genes encoding the same, particularly to keratin-associated proteins (KAP) which bind specifically and strongly to hair keratin or genes encoding the same. The base sequence of eurochromtic region of approximately 33.5 Mb of human chromosome 21 was determined, a dot-matrix analysis of the base sequence of the long arm region of chromosome 21 (21q22.3) was carried out, homology search was made to low frequency repetitive sequences and 16 KAP genes being expressed only in hair root cells were found. Moreover, the high frequency repetitive sequences present in the sequence spanning for approximately 1 Mb between CLDN8 gene and TIAM1 gene in the long arm region of chromosome 21(21q22.11) were masked, the presence or absence of short low frequency repetitive sequence was searched, and 22 KAP genes were found. Moreover, a group of functional peptide was designed from the above mentioned KAPs.

    摘要: A position detection device includes an electromagnetic conversion element and a magnetic field generator. The electromagnetic conversion element is arranged on a given plane. The magnetic field generator is arranged facing one side of the electromagnetic conversion element in a direction vertical to the given plane and generates a magnetic field covering the electromagnetic conversion element. A relative position between the electromagnetic conversion element and the magnetic field generator is detected when a relative displacement parallel to the given plane is made by the electromagnetic conversion element and the magnetic field generator based on an output signal of the electromagnetic conversion element. The magnetic field generator has an opposed face that tilts to the electromagnetic conversion element, and generates the magnetic field from the opposed face.

    摘要: An artificial antibody library with a super-repertory (1011 or more) is constructed by: using a cDNA library as a template, amplifying a fragment containing the CDR1 and CDR2s regions of the VH or VL region of immunoglobulin gene and a fragment containing the CDR3 region each by the PCR method; integrating the VH library and the VL library, which are little contaminated with unexpressionable repertory and have high safety, into an non-expression vector; transferring it into a host; and then shuffling the VH region in the VH library with the VL region in the VL library.
