摘要: A control apparatus of an AC generator for a vehicle can obtain large regeneration energy without making the size of the generator large. In the control apparatus in which an AC output current is rectified and supplied to a vehicle mounted battery (6) and an electric load of the vehicle, provision is made for a regulator (5) that controls a continuity rate of electric power supply to a field coil (3) of a generator (1) by controlling an output voltage of the generator (1). The regulator (5) suppresses the continuity rate of electric power supply to the field coil (3) at the time of steady operation of the vehicle, and switches a suppression value of the continuity rate of electric power supply so as to increase the continuity rate of electric power supply at the time of deceleration operation of the vehicle.

摘要: The control device including: a power transistor (502) for controlling conduction/non-conduction of a field coil (3) in accordance with an output voltage of an AC generator (1) mounted on a vehicle; an RPM detection section (511) for detecting an RPM of the AC generator (1); a drive duty setting section (510) for determining whether or not the RPM detected by the RPM detection section (511) is equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold, and reducing a conduction ratio of the field coil (3) when determining that the RPM is equal to or higher than the predetermined threshold; and a driver (504) for driving the power transistor (502) based on the conduction ratio. In this manner, the conduction ratio of the field coil (3) is reduced to suppress the drive torque.

摘要: A starter protective device is provided which is capable of accurately determining the commencement of overrunning (i.e., timing of the commencement of starting of an engine) even in the presence of variations in the cycle of fluctuations in a battery voltage, noise and so on, thereby to prevent a starter from being overrun after starting of an engine in a reliable manner. The starter protective device includes an overrunning determination section 15 for determining when the starter motor 4 commences overrunning; and a starter motor cut-off section for interrupting the main contactor 3 when it is determined that the starter motor 4 commences overrunning. The overrunning determination section 15 detects a change over time of the battery voltage BV after the starter switch 2 has been turned on, and determines that the starter motor 4 commences overrunning when the battery voltage VB remains unchanged without any increase or decrease over a predetermined time T.

摘要: In a voltage control apparatus of an alternator mounted on a vehicle, the parameter and the equation, which are established based upon the power generation characteristic and the electromagnetic specification of the alternator, are not required, and both an ON-duty rate of an ON/OFF logic of a voltage applied to an energizing coil and a logic frequency can be established under stable condition within a preselected frequency range. The alternator voltage control apparatus is arranged by employing: a first logic output means for comparing a voltage generated by the alternator with a target voltage to obtain a magnitude logic which is outputted as a first ON/OFF logic; and a second logic output means for outputting as a second ON/OFF logic, a PWM internal output logic in which an ON-duty rate is increased/decreased based on the first ON/OFF logic by an increased/decreased amount defined by considering a time constant of the energizing coil. In this alternator voltage control apparatus, a logically processed result between the first ON/OFF logic and the second ON/OFF logic is used as an ON/OFF logic of a voltage application to the energizing coil.

摘要: There is provided a control device of an alternator in which the alternator is controlled to feedback-control a generated voltage to a target voltage without requiring change of parameters and equations of the control device due to change of the power generation characteristics or electromagnetic specification of the alternator, the electromagnetic specification of the alternator can be handled in a wide range without changing the specification of the control device, and its construction becomes easy. The control device includes an arithmetic portion for comparing a deviation with a predetermined value in response to the deviation of the generated voltage of the alternator from the target voltage, first and second convergence correction portions for converging the generated voltage of the alternator to the target voltage in response to the comparison result of the arithmetic portion, and a search proceeding portion and a search execution portion for searching an ON/OFF duty ratio of applied voltage to the alternator in response to the convergence result of the convergence correction portions and on the basis of a binary search method between a predetermined minimum duty ratio and a predetermined maximum duty ratio.

摘要: A voltage control apparatus for a vehicle-onboard electric generator in which wirings inclusive of connectors of the motor vehicle are much simplified to allow the manufacturing cost to be reduced significantly while making the trigger signal constantly available without difficulty even when abnormality takes place in association with the charge lamp. The voltage control apparatus includes a voltage control circuit (1A) for controlling a generated voltage of a vehicle-onboard electric generator (2), an external control unit (5A) for supplying a trigger signal to the voltage control circuit (1A), and a single signal line for electrically interconnecting a first terminal of the voltage control circuit (1A) and a first port of the external control unit (5A), wherein the external control unit (5A) is so designed as to output the trigger signal to the voltage control circuit (1A) by way of the single signal line, and wherein the voltage control circuit (1A) is so designed that upon occurrence of abnormality in the vehicle-onboard electric generator (2), the voltage control circuit (1A) informs the external control unit (5A) of abnormality occurrence status through the medium of the single signal line.

摘要: A coil conductor for a dynamoelectric machine which is a coil conductor to be inserted into slots of an iron core of a dynamoelectric machine, the coil conductor being made of a plurality of wire elements compression-bonded to each other by press-forming so as to have a substantially rectangular cross-section. The wire elements may be twisted by at least 360 degrees and the twisted wire elements may be further twisted. The coil conductor includes straight sections and crossover sections, providing an overall shape of a crank wound in a serpentine manner and the straight sections have different intervals that are different in accordance with the different periodical numbers n th and (n+1) th. The coil conductor for a dynamoelectric machine may further include an electrical insulating material disposed around the conductor of a square cross-sectional shape that is formed by simultaneously pressing the conductor bundle with an electrical insulating material placed therearound before press-forming.
