摘要: To suppress dissipation in monochrome LED displays, each frame is supplied at half the frame rate. In color LED displays, one color frame (e.g. green) is supplied at the normal frame rate and the other colors (red, blue) are supplied at slower frame rates. In a further embodiment, frame rates of all colors are based on the image to be displayed.

摘要: An autostereoscopic display device comprises a display arrangement such as an emissive display arrangement or an reflective display arrangement, with an array of spaced pixels. A light guiding arrangement has an array of light guide columns, with one column over each display pixel or over a group (such as a column) of pixels. The light guide columns comprise aside wall which tapers outwardly to define a funnel shape with the pixel at the smaller base of the funnel. The funnel provides collimation to reduce cross talk in the display, which is particularly problematic for 3D autostereoscopic displays.

摘要: An electrophysiological device comprises a lead-off detector in the form of an electrical impedance detector and further a path from a supply voltage to a second voltage. The path comprises segments having electrical impedances, at least one of which is to be ascertained, and a measuring vertex. The electrical impedance detector further comprises a discriminator connected to the measuring vertex and arranged to evaluate an electrical measuring signal observed at the measuring vertex.

摘要: An apparatus and method for modifying a psychophysiological state of a subject include detecting a psychophysiological measure of the subject; processing the detected physiological measure so as to provide a signal indicative of a psychophysiological state of the subject; and outputting at least one of an audio stimulus, visual stimulus, haptic stimulus, temperature stimulus and scent stimulus to the subject. The output stimulus may be derived from an audio-visual data signal provided to the apparatus. Further, the output stimulus is adjusting in real time based on the signal indicative of a psychophysiological state of the subject.
