摘要: A hose includes an outer hose member, and an inner hose member. The outer hose member includes a first bellows-like tubular portion at least in the intermediate area in the axial direction. The inner hose member is disposed substantially coaxially in the outer hose member, includes a second bellows-like tubular portions in the area corresponding to the first bellows-like tubular portion of the outer hose member, and adapted to form a tubular air layer between the second bellows-like tubular portion and the first bellows-like tubular portion. Because of the outer hose member and the inner hose member, the hose exhibits a high flexibility, a reliable barrier ability against gasoline fuels or the like, and an improved adiabatic ability and anti-flammability for the inner hose member.

摘要: A muffler includes a box-shaped member formed so as to define an inner space therein, and including at least two communication ports. An inner pipe is accommodated in the box shaped member, and includes a fluid passage formed therein. An end of the inner pipe is installed to one of the communication ports, and another end thereof is installed to another one of the communication ports. A separation is provided in the inner pipe which communicates the fluid passage with the inner space. The inner pipe can include a first tubular member, a part thereof formed integrally with the body by injection molding, and a second tubular member having an end. The end is disposed in the inner space so as to face an end of the first tubular member in spaced relation so as to form the separation. A guide and a fixing member can be formed on an inner wall surface of the body so as to connect the inner pipe with the communication port.

摘要: A process for producing a muffler hose having opposite ends, an intermediate portion having a noise-reducing communication hole, and a noise-reducing expansion chamber. The process includes the steps of fitting a protector at the opposite ends of the hose, and disposing the hose and the protectors in a separable blow-molding mold having a jaw; extruding a tubular parison around the hose and the protectors, closing the blow-molding mold, reducing the parison diametrically at two axially-apart positions by the jaw, clamping the parison around the hose at two axially-opposite positions of the hose, the two axially-opposite positions being intervened by the communication hole, and placing the opposite ends of the parison around the protectors; and blowing air into the parison through one of the protectors, and the communication hole of the hose to expand the parison, thereby forming the expansion chamber. The process can produce the muffler hose, having high accuracy on the outer periphery at the opposite ends, at reduced production cost.

摘要: A gate wiring electrode is formed into a ladder-like pattern. Moreover, between source electrodes and drain electrodes in the entire Switch MMIC, the gate wiring electrodes are disposed. Furthermore, at a cross part between the gate wiring electrode and the source electrode or the drain electrode, a nitride film having a large relative dielectric constant and a polyimide or a hollow part having a small relative dielectric constant are disposed. Accordingly, a capacitance at the cross part is reduced. Thus, a second harmonic wave level can be lowered. Moreover, a leak of a high-frequency signal between the drain electrode and the source electrode can be prevented. Thus, a third harmonic level can be lowered. Consequently, distortion characteristics of the Switch MMIC can be significantly improved.

摘要: A Schottky barrier diode has a Schottky electrode formed on an operation region of a GaAs substrate and an ohmic electrode surrounding the Schottky electrode. The ohmic electrode is disposed directly on an impurity-implanted region formed on the substrate. A nitride film insulates the ohmic electrode from a wiring layer connected to the Schottky electrode crossing over the ohmic electrode. The planar configuration of this device does not include the conventional polyimide layer, and thus has a better high frequency characteristics than conventional devices.
