Abstract: Systems and method for power control for a decoder are disclosed. In one aspect, a decoder for a communication bus is put into a sleep or low power mode when the bus is idle such as when blanking information is sent over a camera serial interface (CSI) bus. By alerting the decoder that there is an opportunity for low power operation, power consumption may be reduced and, particularly for battery operated mobile devices, a time to recharge metric may be improved, which improves the user experience.

Abstract: An apparatus, method, and computer-readable medium for communicating with multiple subscriptions and dynamic spectrum sharing in a multi-subscriber identity module device are configured to scan for one or more first services corresponding to a first subscription and camp on a first service of the one or more first services corresponding to the first subscription on a first frequency band. The aspects are further configured to determine whether the first frequency band supports Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) and camp on a second service corresponding to a second subscription on the first frequency band in response to determining that the first frequency band supports the DSS. The aspects are further configured to scan for one or more second services corresponding to a second subscription in response to determining that the first frequency band does not support the DSS and camp on one of the one or more second services.

Abstract: One innovation includes an imaging device having an image sensor, a lens having a movable optical element, and an actuator operative to move the one optical element to a plurality of lens positions. The imaging device further includes an electronic display, a power source electrically coupled to the camera system and to the display, the power source (e.g., voltage regulator) configured to provide power to the display and the camera system, a memory circuit configured to store information representing an actuator control value that corresponds to a low-power focus position, and an electronic hardware processor coupled to the memory circuit, the actuator and the electronic display. The processor may retrieve the actuator control value from the memory circuit and controls the actuator to move the optical element to the lens position that corresponds to the low-power focus position when the camera system is in a deactivated state.

Abstract: An under-display camera is positioned underneath a display of a mobile device. The under-display camera captures an image using light passing through a portion of the display. The mobile device displays a display image on the display, the display image based on the image. The mobile device displays an indicator overlaid over the display image on an indicator area of the display that overlaps with the portion of the display. The indicator may identify the position of the camera. The mobile device can compensate for occlusion of the camera by continuing to display a previous display image if a more recently captured image includes an occlusion. The mobile device can give users alternate ways to select areas of the display image to avoid camera occlusion, for instance using hardware buttons and/or touchscreen interface elements.
