Abstract: A projection assembly for a head-up display (HUD) includes a windshield, including an outer and inner pane joined to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer, and having an HUD region; and a projector directed at the HUD region. The radiation of the projector is predominantly p-polarised, and the windshield is provided with a reflective coating, which is suitable for reflecting p-polarised radiation. The reflective coating has exactly one electrically conductive layer and arranged one above and one below the electrically conductive layer are two dielectric layer sequences, each including n low-optical-refraction layers having an index of refraction less than 1.8 and (n+1) high-optical-refraction layers having an index of refraction greater than 1.8, arranged alternatingly in each case, wherein n is an integer greater than or equal to 1.

Abstract: A projection arrangement for a head-up display, including a composite pane, including an outer pane and an inner pane, which are joined to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer, having an upper edge and a lower edge and an HUD region; an electrically conductive coating on the surface of the outer pane or the inner pane facing the intermediate layer or provided within the intermediate layer; and a projector that is aimed at the HUD region; wherein the light of the projector has at least one p-polarised portion and wherein the electrically conductive coating has, in the spectral range from 400 nm to 650 nm, only a single local reflection maximum for p-polarised light, with this maximum in the range from 510 nm to 550 nm.

Abstract: A transparent pane having at least one transparent substrate and at least one an electrically conductive coating on at least one surface of the transparent substrate. The electrically conductive coating has at least two functional layers arranged one on top of another. Each functional layer contains: a layer of optically highly refractive material; a smoothing layer above the layer of optically highly refractive material; a lower adapting (matching) layer above the smoothing layer; an electrically conductive layer above the lower adapting layer; and an upper adapting (matching) layer above the electrically conductive layer. The lower adapting layer and/or the upper adapting layer contain a homogeneously distributed getter material. At least one lower adapting layer and/or upper adapting layer containing the getter material is in direct contact with the electrically conductive layer.

The reflection coating has exactly one electrically conductive layer based on silver, a lower dielectric layer or layer sequence whose refractive index is at least 1.9 is arranged beneath the electrically conductive layer, an upper dielectric layer or layer sequence whose refractive index is at least 1.9 is arranged above the electrically conductive layer, the ratio of the optical thickness of the upper dielectric layer or layer sequence to the optical thickness of the lower dielectric layer or layer sequence is at least 1.7.

Abstract: A transparent pane comprising a transparent substrate and an electrically conductive coating on a surface of the transparent substrate is disclosed. The electrically conductive coating comprises four functional layers arranged one atop another. Each functional layer comprises a layer of optically highly refractive material with a refractive index >1.3, a first matching layer above the layer of optically highly refractive material, an electrically conductive layer above the first matching layer, and a second matching layer above the electrically conductive layer. The layer thickness of each conductive layer can be 5 nm to 25 nm and the total layer thickness of all electrically conductive layers can be 20 nm to 100 nm.

Abstract: A transparent panel is described. The transparent panel has at least one transparent substrate and at least one electrically conductive coating on at least one surface of the transparent substrate. The electrically conductive coating has at least two functional layers which are arranged one above the other, and each functional layer has at least an optically highly refractive material layer, which has a refractive index greater than or equal to 2.1, and a smoothing layer, which is above the optically highly refractive material layer. The smoothing layer contains at least one non-crystalline oxide, a first matching layer, which is above the smoothing layer, an electrically conductive layer, which is above the first matching layer, and a second matching layer, which is above the electrically conductive layers. The total thickness of all the electrically conductive layers is between 40 nm and 75 nm, and the electrically conductive coating has a low ohm/square sheet resistance. The optically highly refractive material contains at least one mixed silicon/metal nitride.

The sum of the thicknesses of all electrically conductive layers is at most 30 nm and at least one of the electrically conductive layers has a thickness of at most 5 nm.
