Abstract: A matching computer system for electronically generating, matching, and providing online user profiles, and determining a sharing score between the online user profiles is provided. The matching computer system may be configured to generate online user profiles associated with users of the systems. The matching computer system may be also configured to calculate a base score based upon the generated online user profile. Each base score represents a level of trustworthiness of each respective user. The matching computer system may be further configured to determine a sharing score between users based upon the base scores. Each sharing score represents a level of matching between the online user profiles.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for using data collected by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to generate insurance claim estimates that an insured individual may quickly review, approve, or modify. When an insurance-related event occurs, such as a vehicle collision, crash, or disaster, one or more UAVs are dispatched to the scene of the event to collect various data, including data related to vehicle or real property (insured asset) damage. With the insured's permission or consent, the data collected by the UAVs may then be analyzed to generate an estimated insurance claim for the insured. The estimated insurance claim may be sent to the insured individual, such as to their mobile device via wireless communication or data transmission, for subsequent review and approval. As a result, insurance claim handling and/or the online customer experience may be enhanced.

Abstract: Various techniques are described utilizing one or more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs, or “drones”) for various disaster and/or catastrophe-related purposes. UAVs may collect data in an attempt to predict the occurrence and/or extent of a catastrophe and/or to mitigate the impact of a catastrophe before and, if not at that time, once it has occurred. The UAVs may perform various tasks such that the damage to property caused by a catastrophe (or potential catastrophe) may be eliminated or mitigated. A UAV may receive a flight path based on an energy consumption related condition and operate based on the flight path. Operating based on the flight path includes docking the UAV with a power supply device for charging a power source of the UAV.

Abstract: A gas mitigation system includes a duct defining a channel extending between an inlet positioned in flow communication with a ground pit positioned at least partially beneath the building, and an outlet positioned above the inlet and outside of the building. The system further includes a fan assembly having a fan coupled in flow communication with the channel and a motor operably coupled to the fan. A sensor is configured to detect an operating parameter of the fan assembly including at least one of the flow of air within the channel and vibrations generated by operation of the fan assembly. A processor is in communication with the sensor and a memory storing instructions thereon, which, when executed by the processor, may cause the processor to receive the operating parameter detected by the sensor and transmit an alert based upon the operating parameter.

Abstract: A user analytics computing device for processing mobile device telematics data includes a processor in communication with a memory device. The processor is programmed to: (i) store a model to predict a travel mode for a user based upon historical telematics data, (ii) form a first group by assigning a user to the first group, (iii) receive telematics data associated with movement of the user, (iv) input the telematics data into the model to determine a travel mode of the user, (v) parse subsets of the telematics data based upon the determined travel modes, (vi) retrieve an eligibility condition defining eligibility to qualify for a user offering, (vii) aggregate one subset of the telematics data associated with the first travel mode of the user, (viii) determine that the group telematics data satisfies the eligibility condition, and (ix) cause a notification to be displayed on the mobile device of the user.

Abstract: A computer-based method for maintaining an autonomous or self-driving vehicle is provided. The method is implemented using a vehicle controlling (“VC”) computer device installed on the vehicle. Abstract: Systems and methods are described for detecting a leak based upon home telematics data. The method may include: (1) receiving home telematics data from one or more sensors associated with one or more pipes (or piping systems) in a structure, wherein the home telematics data is indicative of the frequency with which the one or more pipes are being used; (2) determining, using a trained machine learning algorithm, pipe activity associated with the one or more pipes is occurring at an irregular frequency; (3) determining, based upon at least the determination that the pipe activity associated with the one or more pipes is occurring at the irregular frequency, that the one or more pipes are leaking; and (4) transmitting an indication to a user associated with the home that the one or more pipes are leaking.
