Abstract: An apparatus includes: a display unit; a communication unit configured to communicate with a plurality of devices external to the apparatus; and a processor configured to control the display unit to display a first user interface (UI) image including a list of content files stored in a first device of the plurality of devices and a second UI image including a list of applications stored in a second device of the plurality of devices, and, in response to receiving a first user input selecting a content file from the list of content files in the first UI image and a second user input selecting an application from the list of applications in the second UI image, to control the selected content file to be processed by the selected application in the second device.

Abstract: A view sensor, a home control system including the view sensor, and a method of controlling the home control system are provided. The view sensor includes: a lens unit configured to receive light in order to capture an image or project light in order to display the image; an image acquirer configured to acquire the image by using the light received from the lens unit; a projector configured to provide light to the lens unit in order to display the image; a beam splitter configured to provide the image acquirer with the light received from the lens unit or transmit the light generated by the projector to the lens unit; and a controller configured to, in response to the image being captured, control the beam splitter to provide the image acquirer with the light received from the lens and, in response to the image being displayed, control the beam splitter to provide the lens unit with the light generated by the projector.

The display apparatus includes a display; one or more loudspeakers; a signal processor configured to process an image signal so that an image may be displayed on the display and sound may be output from the loudspeaker; a communication interface configured to communicate with one or more external display apparatuses; and a controller configured to transmit sound processed by the signal processor to the one or more loudspeakers in accordance with a preset output designation state, determine a divided and displayed state of an image with respect to the display apparatus and the one or more external display apparatuses, and adjust the output designation state of the sound with respect to the one or more loudspeakers based on the determination.
