Abstract: Disclosed herein is a refrigerator. Abstract: A storage apparatus and a method for controlling the same are disclosed, which relate to a technology for a storage apparatus and a method for controlling the same to receive or return a package, which should be stored at a controlled temperature, such as food, in a non-face to face manner using two doors open in opposite directions such that a delivery person and a consumer do not meet each other.The storage apparatus includes a first door, a second door provided to face the first door, an imaging device configured to acquire an image of the package accommodated in the storage apparatus, a communicator configured to transmit the acquired image of the package to an external device, and a controller configured to control a storage temperature for the package in accordance with a package storage temperature set by the external device based on the image of the package.
