    摘要: An epitaxial wafer and a device having improved characteristics are obtained. The epitaxial wafer includes a substrate, a buffer layer formed on the substrate, a light-receiving layer formed on the buffer layer, and a window layer. The light-receiving layer is constituted of an epitaxial film having its lattice constant larger than that of a material of which the substrate is made. The window layer is formed on the light-receiving layer and constituted of one or a plurality of layers arranged to contact the light-receiving layer. A constituent layer of the window layer that is in contact with the light-receiving layer has its lattice constant smaller than the larger one of respective lattice constants of the light-receiving layer and the buffer layer. The window layer has a thickness of at least 0.2 μm and at most 2.0 μm.

    摘要: An input video signal is written into alternate field memories M1 and M2, according to a timing clock from an input video clock generator. A display video signal is alternately read from those field memories, according to a timing clock from a display video clock generator. In switching a read memory, an address observation circuit judges whether or not a read/write address passes by a write/read address, referring to the condition of reading and writing operations. In this event, the circuit makes a judgement, based on the lag between a vertical synchronizing signals of an input video signal and of a display video signal, and a change of the lag with time. If it is judged that one address will pass by the other, the same read/write memory is again accessed for reading/writing. With this arrangement, there is provided a circuit having a relatively simple structure for preventing a match of read and write addresses.

    摘要: A miniaturized printer wherein the duration of each print cycle, the sequence of printing operations performed in each print cycle and the time between each print cycle is controlled by a detecting arrangement. The detecting arrangement is adapted to detect the rotary position of a plurality of print rings having print characters circumferentially disposed therearound and for generating a character selection timing pulse for each of the available rotational positions of each print ring during a print cycle. The rotational position of each print ring corresponds to a print character circumferentially disposed about the print ring and, to this end, a print selection mechanism associated with each of the print rings selectively positions each of the print rings at respective predetermined print positions during each print cycle in response to the character selection timing pulses produced by the detection arrangement so that printing can be performed thereby. The detecting arrangement is further constructed and arranged to produce a stand-by signal representative of each print ring being positioned at a stand-by position at the end of each print cycle. The detecting arrangement further includes a shutter mechanism for preventing the detecting arrangement from producing a stand-by signal until a predetermined interval of time after the last of the character selection timing pulses are generated during each print cycle.
