    摘要: There is provided a near-infrared sensor cover to be applied to a near-infrared sensor including a transmitting unit that transmits near-infrared radiation and a receiving unit that receives near-infrared radiation reflected by an object. The near-infrared sensor cover includes a cover main body portion disposed with a thickness direction thereof to be coincide with a transmission and reception direction of the near-infrared radiation and covering the transmitting unit and the receiving unit, and a heater wire disposed on the cover main body portion to generate heat when energized. The heater wire includes plural straight line portions that extend in parallel to each other and plural connection portions that connect end portions of adjacent straight line portions. An interval between adjacent straight line portions ranges from 3 mm to 10 mm, and a diameter of the heater wire ranges from 0.01 mm to 0.2 mm.

    A method for setting a condition for recoating a vehicle exterior member with a water-repellent coating film, the method including:



    a peeling step of peeling a water-repellent coating film formed on a surface of the vehicle exterior member;
    a recoating step of forming a water-repellent coating film onto the surface to obtain a coating-film-formed vehicle exterior member, the recoating step being subsequent to the peeling step; and
    an assessment step of adhering a test liquid drop onto the water-repellent coating film formed through the recoating step, and making a water-repellency assessment, wherein
    the assessment step includes making, when a fall-off angle of the test liquid drop is not greater than 20°, an assessment that a recoating condition used in the peeling step and the recoating step is an acceptable recoating condition.

The body includes a base made of a transparent plastic having an infrared transmissivity and a black layer formed on a rear surface of the base in a transmission direction of infrared rays from a transmitting unit. The black layer includes a coating film layer. The coating film layer is formed by combining a transparent plastic and at least two types of dyes/pigments that have an infrared transmissivity and produce a black color when mixed together. The black layer has a thickness in a range from 5 μm to 50 μm. The black layer contains 50 to 150 parts by mass of dyes/pigments as a whole in relation to 100 parts by mass of transparent plastic.
