Abstract:
In a spray method for spraying and applying a powdery mold coating agent onto both inside surfaces of a movable metal mold and a stationary metal mold for a permanent mold casting device, a spray method of permanent mold casting powdery mold coating agent in which a spray head provided with an electrostatic spray gun is fit to a feeding port so as to shut it tightly and a suction head connected to a suction pump is fit to a riser port so as to shut it tightly under a state where the movable metal mold and the stationary metal mold are closed. An inside of cavity is sucked by the suction pump through the riser port so as to produce a pressure difference between inside and outside of the cavity, and a powdery mold coating agent supplied from a powdery mold coating agent feeding device to the electrostatic spray gun is discharged from the electrostatic spray gun by means of the above pressure difference so as to be electrostatically adsorbed onto the inside surfaces of the foregoing both metal molds.
Abstract:
There provided a powder supply means for supplying a powdery mold releasing agent to a basin and a pressure reduction means for reducing a pressure in a cavity, and in a casting work the powdery mold releasing agent is supplied through a basin into a cavity while reducing a pressure in the cavity.
Abstract:
A squeeze casting powdery mold releasing agent according to this invention consists of a granulated or powdery mixture of a lubricant, an organic polymer and a metal soap; wherein the lubricant is coated with the organic polymer or the metal soap. Therefore, the mold releasing agent allows productions of castings of high quality, in a squeeze casting work, with good workability and without worsening environmental situations.
Abstract:
An atomizer having a mold release agent passage and a pressure air passage that sprays misty mold release agent by mixing mold release agent coming from the mold release agent passage with pressure air coming from the pressure air passage. A rotor having plural vanes is installed in a course of a mold release agent passage of the atomizer in such a way that the vanes are subjected to a pressure of the mold release agent passing through the mold release agent passage and are rotated by the mold release agent, and a rotating speed sensor for detecting a rotating speed of the rotor is installed therein.
Abstract:
A permanent mold casting powdery mold releasing agent according to this invention consists of a granulated or powdery mixture of a lubricant, an organic polymer and a metal soap; wherein the lubricant is coated with the organic polymer or the metal soap. Therefore, the mold releasing agent allows productions of castings of high quality, in a parmanent mold casting work, with good workability and without worsening environmental situations.
Abstract:
A die-casting powdery mold releasing agent according to this invention is a mold releasing agent comprising a mixture of powdery or granulated mold releasing base material composed of an inorganic compound as used for lubricant in a solid form and an organic compound giving adhesive property to the mold releasing agent, the both having powdery or granulated configurations, or configurations in which the organic compound is covered on the mold releasing base material. The mold releasing agent allows production of castings of high quality, in the die-casting method with good workability and without worsening environmental situations.
Abstract:
A powdery mold release agent spray device including a nozzle having spray ports on its tip end side wall, a nozzle having spray ports on its tip end surface and shut pins, all of which are assembled in through holes made on both metal molds. The spray ports of the former and latter nozzles are exposed to cavity inside at time of spraying work, the spray ports of the former and latter nozzles are located in the through holes and the cavity is isolated from the spray ports of the latter nozzle by the shut pin. By using this spray device, a powdery mold release agent can be sprayed onto inside surfaces of the metal molds without exception, economically and without worsening a work environment.
Abstract:
The powder lubricant for plunger device of this invention is a mixture of a powdered or granulated lubricant base material used for a lubricant in a solid form, with an organic compound giving an adhesion ability to the lubricant base material. The most outstanding feature of this invention is that the lubricant base material has the powdered or granulated form. Effect of this invention are that occurrence of defects inside products can be positively avoided, dangers such as fire etc. and environmental pollution can be prevented, and sliding of plunger can be made smooth to improve the workability.
Abstract:
A spray system has a base plate, a support member, a first cylinder mechanism and a second cylinder mechanism, a first slide tube and a second slide tube, a first board portion and a second board portion, a first holding bar, and a second holding bar. Each board portion is so constructed that a nozzle cassette is detachably fitted to a board base plate, the nozzle cassette is equipped with a number of spray nozzles, the first cylinder mechanism is so constructed that the first board portion can be moved relative to the support member, and the second cylinder mechanism is so constructed that the second board portion can be moved relative to the support member.
Abstract:
A sleeve lubricating mechanism which is able to positively coating a powder lubricant onto an inside surface of a molten metal feeding sleeve for a vertical shot casting machine. This mechanism is composed of an attachment which contacts with a molten metal feeding port of the sleeve to block it so as to bring a sleeve inside to a closed condition, a vacuum device sucking air from the sleeve inside through the attachment, and a powder feeding device discharging the powder lubricant together with air from a nozzle into the sleeve inside through the attachment.
