摘要: A method for implementing packet en-queuing and de-queuing processes in a network switch is provided. The method comprises the following steps. First, an en-queuing process and a de-queuing process are divided into a plurality of en-queuing and de-queuing stages. The en-queuing process of a plurality of en-queued packets is then processed with each of the plurality of en-queued packets processed in one of the plurality of en-queuing stages simultaneously, and every one of the plurality of en-queued packets passes through all of the plurality of en-queuing stages sequentially to complete the en-queuing process. The de-queuing process of a plurality of de-queued packets is then processed with each of the plurality of de-queued packets processed in one of the plurality of de-queuing stages simultaneously, and every one of the plurality of de-queued packets passes through all of the plurality of de-queuing stages sequentially to complete the de-queuing process.

摘要: The present invention provides method and carrier for culturing multi-layered tissue in vitro, wherein few amounts of tissue blocks and cells are positioned within a porous multi-layer carrier consisting of a cavity structure. By taking advantage of the structure of the carrier, tissue blocks and cells are separated into different layers according to their sizes, and incubated in vitro to reconstruct a multi-layered tissue for tissue repair.

摘要: Adjust a backlight of a display device according to image loading and edge statistics of an input image. When the input image is a dark scene and includes relatively more edges, a luminance of the backlight would be controlled according to the image loading of the input image and compensated the backlight for showing details of the input image clearly. When the input image is a dark scene with negligible edges, the luminance of the backlight would be controlled by image loading with no or few compensation for lowering the power consumption. When the input image is a bright scene, or when the input image includes no edge or only negligible edges, minimum compensation is applied to the backlight for lowering the power consumption.

摘要: A switch controller using a congestion control method can relieve congestion in a network. The Ethernet switch controller has the capacity to select a suitable congestion control mode according to each connection port and state of the connected device. If a flow control mode is selected, the switch controller issues a flow control frame and waits for the passing of a guard period roughly equivalent to a period of about inputting three packets. If the connected device continues to transmit network packets after the guard period, the switch controller switches from the flow control mode to a drop control mode. Hence, the received packets are discarded and congestion is prevented. Consequently, the switch controller of this invention can still carry out congestion control operation when the switch controller is connected to a device having no standard flow control capability.

摘要: A process for producing porous polymer material. The method combines a polymer and water-soluble granules to form a mixture. The mixture is placed into a mold; the surface of the polymer is dissolved to cause cohesion and form a polymer structure having water-soluble granules dispersed within, and water is introduced into the inner part of the polymer structure so that the polymer is solidified and water-soluble granules are washed out to obtain a porous polymer material. According to the invention, single or multiple layers of porous polymer material with different apertures, porosities, or made with different materials, are obtained by combining different polymer materials and water-soluble granules having different particle sizes in different weight ratios.
