摘要:
Severity and confidence level of a myocardial ischemia event can be determined, such as including using an ambulatory medical device, and such information can be used to determine a graded response to the myocardial ischemia event.
摘要:
A system can coordinate operation of a cardiac function management (CFM) device and a renal device, such as during a vulnerable period in which a patient has an increased risk of tachyarrhythmia.
摘要:
A device can include at least a first physiologic sensor circuit configured to provide a first physiologic signal, a second physiologic sensor circuit configured to provide a second physiologic signal, and a processor circuit. The processor circuit includes a principal component analysis circuit configured to represent data determined from the at least first and second physiologic sensor circuits as at least first and second axes, respectively, in a multidimensional space, determine one or more principal components in the multidimensional space, determine a quantitative attribute of the first and the second physiologic signals using at least one of the determined principal components or a projection of the data along the at least one determined principal component, and provide an indication of heart failure status according to the quantitative attribute to at least one of a user or a process.
摘要:
An apparatus comprises plurality of sensors and a processor. Each sensor provides a sensor signal that includes physiological information and at least one sensor is implantable. The processor includes a physiological change event detection module that detects a physiological change event from a sensor signal and produces an indication of occurrence of one or more detected physiological change events, and a heart failure (HF) detection module. The HF detection module determines, using a first rule, whether the detected physiological change event is indicative of a change in HF status of a subject, determines whether to override the first rule HF determination using a second rules, and declares whether the change in HF status occurred according to the first and second rules.
摘要:
Systems and methods for detecting heart failure by monitoring the time-sequence of physiological changes of a subject using a state machine circuit configured to receive information about physiological characteristics of the subject is described. The current state transitions between a first and a second state in response to a first transition trigger. The current state transitions between the second and first states in response to at least one of the expiration of a first timer or ceasing of the first transition trigger. The current state transitions between the second and third states in response to a second transition trigger. The current state transitions between the third and second states in response to at least one of expiration of a second timer or ceasing of the second transition trigger.

An access disconnection system includes an extracorporeal circuit; first and second contacts provided in the extracorporeal circuit; a current source communicating with the first contact and configured to generate a current within fluid flowing through the extracorporeal circuit; and an apparatus positioned to apply a signal at multiple points along a path from the extracorporeal circuit, the signals tending to prevent at least a portion of the current from traveling through a ground path in parallel to the extracorporeal circuit.

Systems and methods permit remotely-monitored rehabilitation of a patient. A system can comprise a patient monitor configured to monitor a patient's physiological data. The patient monitor can monitor using a first monitoring mode. A patient communication device can be configured to present, to the patient, an option to perform an exercise regimen, and to receive a response indicating whether the patient will perform the exercise regimen. A configuration module coupled to the patient communication device can be configured to activate a second monitoring mode when the response indicates that the patient will perform the exercise regimen. When the exercise regimen is complete, the first monitoring mode can be re-established. When the response indicates that the patient will not perform the exercise regimen, the response can be recorded as a negative response, and the option to perform the exercise regimen can be presented again.
