    摘要: A cam shaft phase setter for adjusting the rotational angular position of a cam shaft relative to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine by means of a hydraulic fluid, the cam shaft phase setter including a stator which can be rotary-driven by the crankshaft; a pressure chamber for the fluid; a rotor which is connected, rotationally fixed, to the cam shaft and coupled to the stator such that torque is transmitted and which can be adjusted in its rotational angle relative to the stator by introducing the fluid into the pressure chamber; a control valve including a valve housing and a valve piston; the valve housing including a housing inlet, an operating port to the pressure chamber and a reservoir port to a reservoir for the fluid and being connected, rotationally fixed, to the cam shaft or being formed by the cam shaft; the valve piston being axially adjustable back and forth in the valve housing between a first position and a second position and including a piston feed which is connected to the housing inlet and is connected to the operating port in the first position of the valve piston and separated from the operating port in the second position of the valve piston; an actuating unit, coupled to the valve piston, for axially adjusting the valve piston; and a feedback through which fluid which flows through the valve housing can be fed back into an engine housing of the internal combustion engine which rotatably mounts the cam shaft; wherein the cam shaft phase setter is configured such that the fluid flowing through the control valve flows back into the engine housing through one or more components of the phase setter which rotate with the cam shaft.

    摘要: A device for adjusting the rotational angular position of a cam shaft relative to a crankshaft of a combustion engine includes a supply branch for supplying pressure fluid to setting chambers to generate torque acting on a rotor; and a pressure storage device arranged in the supply branch and including a spring and a storage chamber which can be filled with the pressure fluid against a spring force of the spring, wherein the storage chamber begins to fill, against the spring force, at a start-of-filling pressure which is at most as large as a hot idling pressure which the pressure fluid exhibits when the combustion engine is idling in its hot operational state, and continues to be filled against the spring force if the hot idling pressure is exceeded.

    摘要: A rotary pump with an improved seal on a control pressure chamber, including: a housing having a delivery chamber; a feed wheel rotatable in the delivery chamber; an actuating member surrounding the feed wheel forming delivery cells and moveable in the housing relative to the feed wheel. The control pressure chamber is delineated by the actuating member together with axially facing axial co-operating surfaces, forming an axial sealing gap and a radial sealing gap. A control fluid can be introduced into the control pressure chamber for applying pressure to the actuating member to exert an actuating force in the actuating direction; a restoring device for generating a restoring force; and a sealing element arranged on the actuating member or the circumferential co-operating surface. To compensate for a change in gap width of one of the axial sealing gaps, a base leakage cross-section is provided on the sealing element.

    摘要: A cam shaft phase setter including a control valve for controlling the feeding and draining of a hydraulic fluid into and out of a pressure chamber which serves to adjust the rotational angular position of a cam shaft relative to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine. The control valve includes a valve housing with an operating port to the pressure chamber and a reservoir port to a reservoir for the fluid. A valve piston is axially adjustable back and forth in the valve housing between a first position and a second position and includes an axial hollow space, a piston inlet for introducing the fluid into the hollow space, and a piston outlet which leads out of the hollow space and is connected to the operating port in the first position of the valve piston and separated from the operating port in the second position of the valve piston. An actuating unit is coupled to the valve piston for axially adjusting the valve piston. A coupling member protrudes through an axially facing closure wall which closes off the valve housing and couples the actuating unit to the valve piston. The valve piston includes a radial widening which is surrounded by a complementarily widened housing portion of the valve housing and to which the fluid can be applied in an axial direction pointing away from the axially facing closure wall in order to generate an axial pressure force. The widening is dimensioned such that the fluid acts on the valve piston with a pressure force of at least substantially equal size in both axial directions, despite the coupling member.
