    摘要: A rotary shaft coupling (10) for the drive-line of a vehicle includes a female component (11) of a propeller shaft (41) and a male component (12) of a drive axial pinion (42). The components have mutually engageable splines (14, 15) and circular regions (23, 25, 24, 26) drawn into engagement by a clamp nut (16) of the male component; the circular regions are a sliding or an interference fit. The clamp nut (16) may also be used to draw the components (11, 12) apart.

    摘要: A method of forming a damper assembly for a motor vehicle drive train is provided. The method includes staking a damper flange including a splined inner circumferential surface onto a damper hub to form a first rotational connection between the damper flange and damper hub; and forming a second rotational connection between a radially projecting protrusion of the damper hub and the damper flange. A damper assembly is also provided that includes a damper flange including a splined inner circumferential surface; and a damper hub including an outer circumferential surface staked to the splined inner circumferential surface of damper flange forming a first rotational connection between the damper flange and damper hub. The damper hub includes a radially projecting protrusion fixed to the damper flange forming a second rotational connection between the damper flange and the damper hub.

    摘要: An FRP drive shaft includes an end joint joined to at least one end of an FRP cylinder via an outer collar. The end joint includes a serrated portion on an outer periphery thereof. The outer collar includes a small-diameter collar portion and a large-diameter collar portion. The serrated portion is press-fitted into an inner periphery of the FRP cylinder and fixed to an inner periphery of the small-diameter collar portion. A gap between an inner periphery of the large-diameter collar portion and an outer periphery of the FRP cylinder is filled with an adhesive for fixing the inner periphery of the large-diameter collar portion and the outer periphery of the FRP cylinder to each other. An adhesive-accumulating space which partially increases a filling amount of the adhesive is formed between the inner periphery of the large-diameter collar portion and the outer periphery of the FRP cylinder.
