摘要: A wheel having a controlled pressure includes a rim associated with a tank adapted to be filled with a fluid to a first pressure; a tire mounted on the rim and having an inner volume inflated to an operating pressure at a reference temperature, the operating pressure being lower than the first pressure; and at least one valve assembly adapted to establish a communication between the tank, the inner volume of the tire and the external environment. The valve assembly includes a command valve, an exhaust valve and a compensation valve operatively associated with each other. The command valve controls communication between the tank and the inner volume of the tire. The exhaust valve is connected to the external environment, to the inner volume, to the command valve and to the compensation valve. The compensation valve is connected to the exhaust valve and the command valve. The command valve includes an inner chamber connected with the exhaust valve and the compensation valve in such a manner that the command valve is operated by the exhaust valve and the compensation valve through a pressure variation of the inner chamber in response to a variation of the inner pressure of the tire.

摘要: A pneumatic tire, after manufacture, is provided with a propellant material and a foam forming sealant material in its interior pressurizable space. The propellant and sealant are isolated from each other during normal running conditions of the tire and have no significant effect on the normal running characteristics of the tire. When a tire fails due to a puncture or the like, a loss of tire pressure and/or collapse of the tire structure and/or heat build up in the bead area due to friction permit the propellant and the foam forming materials to interreact.In one embodiment of the invention the propellant and sealant are enclosed in separate chambers of a plurality of dual-chamber containers secured to the bead portion of the tire and/or a rim base. In other embodiments a plurality of mono-chamber containers house one of the materials, the other material being uncontained in the pressurizable space.

摘要: A lubricant gel is made from a poly(alkylene oxide) lubricant, a finely divided silica and a gel-strengthening amount of an ionic salt having a pH of 5.5-8.5 when in 0.1 M aqueous solution. The gel is useful in the inflation chamber of a pnemuatic tire to enable it to run safely in a deflated condition for which purpose the gel should have the required viscosity and mechanical stability.

摘要: A tire repair solution can includes a body and a cap closed on the body. The cap is provided with an intake, an outlet, and a guide tube extending from the underside of an intermediate portion into the body. Then an exterior tube is connected with the intake and also with an air compressor. A one-way air valve is fitted in the intake, and the guide tube has a through hole in its wall, and a slide block is fitted on the through hole to close it up. The outlet has a back-pressure valve fitted inside, and is connected with a connect tube for connecting with a joint to be connected with an air valve of a tire. Then the tire repair solution can is possible to be used in a normal position and in an inverted position, convenient to operate and saving time and labor largely.

摘要: tire sealer and inflating composition and products made therefrom are described. The tire sealer and inflating composition includes a sealant, a non-flammable propellant with an ozone depletion potential of zero or substantially close to zero, and one or more aromatic hydrocarbons capable of lowering the vapor pressure of the non-flammable propellant. Moreover, the tire sealer and inflating composition has a vapor pressure less than about 180 psig at 130null F. A preferred propellant is 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane, although other fluorocarbons can also be used. A preferred aromatic hydrocarbon is AROMATIC 150, which is a mixture of aromatic compounds. The tire sealer and inflating composition can either be aqueous or non-aqueous. The disclosed tire sealer and inflating composition is capable of inflating a flat tire or other inflatable objects and seal a puncture wound.
