    摘要: An image transmission system and method for transmitting an image, which has been divided into a plurality of pixel blocks, comprising a transmitting device and a receiving device. The transmitting device includes an information source encoder for dividing an image to be transmitted into a plurality of pixel blocks in an original arrangement, a pixel block dispersing unit for arranging the pixel blocks of the image according to predetermined rules, and a modulator for successively modulating and transmitting the rearranged blocks. The receiving device includes a demodulator for successively receiving and demodulating the blocks transmitted from the modulator, a pixel block rearranging unit for rearranging the received blocks of the image back into the original arrangement according to the predetermined rules, an information source decoder for decoding the pixel blocks, and a pixel data interpolator for interpolating any block which has suffered a transmission error based on blocks adjacent thereto in the original arrangement. Since any block which has suffered a transmission error is interpolated using normal blocks, the original image can be reproduced with high quality by the receiving device.

    摘要: A plasma CVD apparatus comprises an outer chamber having an exhaust hole, an inner chamber disposed in the outer chamber, a reactive gas inlet pipe communicating with the inner chamber, a first exhaust pipe disposed so as to communicate with the inner chamber, the first exhaust pipe extending at least to an inner wall surface of the outer chamber, and a second exhaust pipe communicating with the exhaust hole. Preferably the forward end of the first exhaust pipe is inserted into the exhaust hole, the forward end of the first exhaust pipe projects outward beyond the inner wall surface of the outer chamber, and a spacing is formed between the first exhaust pipe and the exhaust hole. The reactive gases flow into the inner chamber through the reactive gas inlet pipe and directly flow out of the outer chamber through the first exhaust pipe, thereby preventing the reactive gases from flowing into the outer chamber.

    摘要: A speech encoder circuit of a waveform coding system. An analog speech input signal having coded data therein is received by a buffer and split into two branches. In a first branch the input signal is applied to a subtractor of an adaptive predictor to obtain a predicted residual signal subjected to an orthogonal transformation in a discrete cosine transform unit to convert the residual signal into a frequency domain of each of the frames of the individual blocks. An adaptive encoder in the first branch quantizes the frequency domain frame and branches its digital coded output to a branch for output to a transmission line and to a decoding branch. In the second branch of the split input signal a first sample delay element delays the split input signal for a given number of samples and a first attenuator in the second branch delays the output of the first sample delay element a given amount of each frame received for application to the subtractor for obtaining the predicted residual signal. The coded signal in the decoding branch is applied to an adaptive decoder whose decoded output is subjected to an inverse orthogonal transformation by an inverse discrete cosine transform unit to obtain a signal applied to an input of an adder and delayed by a second delay element and attenuated by a second attenuator in the decoding branch with which processing of one frame ends. The outputs of the attenuators are applied to the subtractor for development of the predicted residual signal.

    摘要: An intermittenceless switching system includes two speech path memories having sufficient capacity to store a single frame of data having a plurality of time slots. The incoming data is stored in one memory, while the outgoing data is read from the other memory. A control circuit continuously alternates the read/write functions between the two memories. A control memory is used to store switch control information. The system includes a buffer memory that is present between a data processor and the control memory to prevent switch operation during data transmission. The system also includes a monitoring circuit for detecting an indication bit signifying the presence or absence of data in the time slot.

    摘要: Deterioration of speech quality due to coding errors during transmission is reduced by suppressing high changes in amplitude. High changes in amplitude are detected by comparing an amplified step size with a decoded output signal. Step size is amplified (by a range of 2-4) and compared to a delayed, decoded output signal. The delayed, decoded output is attenuated (by a range of 0.8-0.99) and the comparison controls a selection between two signals: the amplified step size and the attenuated output. The attenuated output is selected if the delayed output is greater than the amplified step size; otherwise, the amplified step size is selected. The selected signal serves as a prediction signal.

    摘要: A small antenna for portable radios and the like in which two planar conductive boards are disposed in parallel relationship at a spaced interval which is small when compared with received radio wavelengths. A dielectric frame is disposed between the two planar conductive boards keeping them at the preselected spaced interval. Arbitrary feeding points are selected along the edges of the two conductive boards and at least one conductor is positioned at an arbitrary selected feeding point to short-circuit the two conductive boards. In some cases a plurality of arbitrary feeding points may be selected along the edges of the two conductive boards and a plurality of conductors positioned at the plurality of arbitary selected feeding points which short-circuits the conductive boards. The positions of the plurality of conductors which short-circuit the conductive boards may be automatically changed at will to provide the most desirable condition responsive to the direction of the radio waves.

    摘要: A band-stop filter comprises a plurality of resonator units each comprised of an end-shorted coaxial resonator and a variable condenser connected in series therewith, a printed circuit board combining said resonator units in a multistage having thru-holes adjacent a bushing which isolates the inner conductor of the end-shorted coaxial resonator from the printed circuit board. A thru-hole conductor is provided in the thru-hole, and an adjusting screw having a radius is a little larger than the thru-hole. The adjusting screw can have both the proper torque and the electrical connection. The inner conductor surface of the resonator operates electrically as a stator and the adjusting screw operates as a rotor.
