Abstract:
A communications system for providing a user's mobile station (MS) with an Internet Protocol (IP) connectivity, has an IP network gateway for allocating an IP address to the MS to enable it to access an IP network. First and second base stations are respectively configured to support communications of the MS over first and second radio access networks using different radio access technologies. A first access gateway provides an interface between the IP network gateway and the first radio access network, whereas a second access gateway provides an interface between the IP network gateway and the second radio access network. A handover interface is provided between the first access gateway and the second access gateway for enabling the MS to switch between the first and second radio access networks with minimum latency.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for determining a relay link resource element group are disclosed. The method includes: determining a size of a relay link resource element group according to a pattern of a non-zero-power Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS), and/or a pattern of a zero-power CSI-RS and/or a pattern of a Common Reference Signal (CRS), and/or a pattern of a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) transmitted in a resource block in which the resource element group locates in allocated resources. The allocated resources are used for a transmission over a relay link physical downlink control channel, including one or more continuously or discretely distributed resource blocks in the frequency domain, while including one or more Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols in the time domain.
Abstract:
The electric brake system for vehicles includes a pressure supplier connected to a reservoir through a hydraulic passage to receive the oil, the pressure supplier outputting a brake will of a driver as an electric signal through the pedal displacement sensor, when the driver puts the brake pedal, to operate a motor and convert a rotational force of the motor into linear motion, a hydraulic control unit including a first circuit including at least one first vehicle wheel and a second circuit including at least one second vehicle wheel to receive a hydraulic pressure with a force generated by the pressure supplier and thereby perform braking, a blocking valve to control the hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder to a wheel cylinder disposed in each vehicle wheel, a simulation device connected to the master cylinder, to provide a reaction force response to the pedal effort of the brake pedal, and an electronic control unit to control the motor and the valves, based on pressure information and pedal displacement information.
Abstract:
An electronic device defines a receiving groove for an antenna, a first opening, and a second opening. The first opening and the second opening are at two opposite ends of the receiving groove, and allow an antenna assembly to be extended or retracted in the receiving groove to allow the electronic device to receive different types of wireless signals.
Abstract:
Provided is a semiconductor device for applying common source lines with individual bias voltages. The device includes a substrate, cell transistors arrayed in a cell matrix shape on the substrate and configured to have gate insulating patterns, gate electrodes, common source regions, drain regions and channel regions. Word lines are configured to electrically interconnect the gate electrodes with each other. Common source lines are shared between only a pair of the neighboring word lines and are configured to electrically interconnect the common source regions with each other. Drain metal contacts and source metal contacts are arranged in a straight line on the drain regions. Bit lines are electrically connected to the drain metal contacts. And impurity regions are configured to control the threshold voltage of the channel regions.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for a femtocell to reduce interference with an overlapping macrocell. The femtocell determines soft-frequency-reuse (“SFR”) information of the macrocell. From that information, the femtocell determines which frequency sub-channels are assigned by the macrocell for its cell-center users and which frequency sub-channels are assigned for cell-edge users. (Cell-edge users are given a higher transmission power profile in order to overcome potential interference with neighboring macrocells.) Then, the femtocell selects from the cell-center user frequency sub-channels for transmission to the femtocell's users. By transmitting on the cell-center user frequency sub-channels, the femtocell reduces interference with the overlapping macrocell. The femtocell continues to update its knowledge of the macrocell's SFR information and re-assigns frequency sub-channels as the SFR changes. If the macrocell detects that one of its cell-center users is “close enough” to the femtocell, then the macrocell re-assigns the cell-center user as a cell-edge user to overcome interference.
