Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a novel method for separating and purifying pure enantiomer of lenalidomide. Pure enantiomer of lenalidomide can be separated and purified by using, as the mobile phase, an organic solvent selected from the group consisting of aprotic solvents, secondary alcohols, and mixtures thereof.
Abstract:
A makeup base for skin that is applied to the skin before applying a makeup cosmetic is provided. The makeup base is not smeared or removed by sweat or cold water, but, when rubbed with warm water, is easily removed from the skin together with the makeup cosmetic and without using a cosmetic cleanser. The makeup base includes a water-containing aqueous phase as a continuous phase, which includes (a) a vinyl acetate polymer, (b) polyhydric alcohol, and (c) a hydrophilic nonionic surfactant. The (a) the vinyl acetate polymer is 0.5 to 7 mass % in the makeup base and is dispersed as particles in the aqueous phase, (b) the polyhydric alcohol is 0.5 to 5.5 parts by mass relative to 1 part by mass of (a) the vinyl acetate polymer, and (c) the hydrophilic nonionic surfactant is 1 to 5 mass % in the makeup base.
Abstract:
A starting (raw) material, for cosmetics, comprising a core corona type microgel dispersion obtained by radical polymerization of a specific polyethylene oxide macromonomer, a specific hydrophobic monomer, and a specific cross-linking monomer under specific conditions. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the raw material for cosmetics, with which the cosmetic having a high stability provides a good feeling in use and does not cause skin irritation, can be easily produced.
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel method for the pretreatment of a biological sample containing lenalidomide enantiomer and thereby establishing a simple and accurate method for the quantitative analysis of lenalidomide enantiomer. In the present invention, the racemization and decomposition of lenalidomide enantiomer in a biological sample can be prevented by the deproteinization under acidic conditions of the biological sample containing lenalidomide enantiomer, and the lenalidomide enantiomer can be simply and accurately quantitatively analyzed by subjecting to HPLC the biological sample that has been pretreated in such a way.
Abstract:
To provide a water-in-oil emulsion composition having a high stability and which provides fresh feeling in use and glossy finish. The water-in-oil emulsion composition of the present invention is characterized by comprising: (a) 1 to 20 mass % of a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester and/or a hydrocarbon; (b) 3 to 20 mass % of a transparent non-volatile silicone oil that separates when mixed with component (a) at 25° C.; (c) 0.1 to 5 mass % of zinc decyl trisiloxanecarboxylate; and (d) water.
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide an agent for sedating the response of skin to external stimulation. The aforementioned object was achieved by finding a component that promotes CD39 gene expression in Langerhans cells. More specifically, the present invention is based on the finding that the combination of carboxymethyl-beta glucan or a salt thereof polyoxyethylene (POE)/polyoxypropylene (POP) random copolymer dimethyl ether and rosewater promotes CD39 gene expression.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing artificial skin, comprising: adding a matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor and a heparanase inhibitor to an artificial skin formation culture medium comprising human epidermal keratinocytes and human dermal fibroblasts, culturing the cells in the artificial skin formation culture medium, and forming artificial skin.
Abstract:
The present invention was aimed to provide a low-stringiness thickener consisting of a compound in high demand as a thickener for cosmetics, i.e., polyacrylic acid or a salt thereof, or PAMPS or a salt thereof, where a stringiness property of the compound was reduced.A low-stringiness thickener consisting of a compound selected from polyacrylic acid. a salt of polyacrylic acid, PAMPS, and a salt of PAMPS, wherein the weight-average molecular weight of the compound is 500 thousand to 8 million, and wherein the content of the compound having the molecular weight of 10 million or higher is 10 mass % or less.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a water-in-oil emulsified sunscreen cosmetic comprising the following ingredients (a), (b), (c), and (d) in the outer phase and not comprising octylmethoxy cinnamate, octocrylene, or avobenzone.(a) 5-15 wt % of hydrophobized rutile type crystallized titanium dioxide having an average particle size of 30-80 nm, (b) 0.1-10 wt % of iron oxide, (c) 5-15 wt % of hydrophobized zinc oxide having an average particle size of 20-80 nm, (d) 0-1.0 wt % of titanium dioxide for white pigment having an average particle size of 180 nm or more. The object of the present invention is to provide a water-in-oil emulsified sunscreen cosmetic that is applied on the face including the areas surrounding the eyes, wherein irritation to the eyes is minor, the UVB and UVA protection effect is high, and a superior makeup effect is also manifested.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is to develop a screening method for drugs having effects of increasing skin barrier function in in vitro experimentation, and to evaluate skin barrier function for skin. Serine racemase activity and/or expression level are used as an indicator to allow screening of candidate drugs.
